    If Jr. destroyed (or legit 7-5 decisioned) Martinez, barring some freak pre-fight weight waivors (which seems normal nowadays) in Jr's favor, I will give the kid full credit.

    I'm one of the ones that doesn't think Jr could beat Martinez, so when I'm proved wrong, I have 0 issue with admitting it.

    Jr. gets hit easily, martinez will counterpunch him all night with very hard shots, chavez size does help him but I honestly believe martinez will land a lot of very hard shots and eventually stop him.

    I agree. THe only thing his size does for him is help him take the shots better. That won't mean **** if he can't hit Martinez back.

    :rofl Love James..... But he's a few notches below Martinez... He's on level with guys like Angulo who wore himself out and allowed James to come back and win. James is a good, raw pressure fighter who will always make for an exciting fight.

    never gonna happen. I actually think JCC Jr's pretty good and legit top 5 at MW but this fight will never happen, Arum is gonna squeeze all he can outa Jr with news that Pac can retire anytime after Timmy. Martinez would beat Jr in a closer than expected fight where he loses 3-4 rounds but we'll never see this one as long as Arums alive.

    I don't hate the kid, but Jr is a joke. Its going to be embarrassing how Maravilla dismantles this kid. Despite his size I'll be very surprised if Jr lasts the distance or wins 2 rounds. Talks too much and fights like a really good journeyman. I'm going to feel real bad for Sr when Jr gets in with the true middleweight champ that belt does not belong to Jr Sr needs to buy him a plastic WWE John Cena belt.
