    you know I love vitali,& he gave LL all & more than he wanted. I still believe LL hof great great fighter, the GREAT ones come back Rahaman, Brooks,&come thru like Mercer,Vitali. I just saw Mercer/LL other night tell you thbe truth Mercer very very Underated hes one of the best all-time!!!!:p

    Mercer wasn't shot. He was the same age as Vitali, who is still dominant HW champ. Your hero Chisora was dominated by 40 year old one armed Vitali.

    Mercer was coming off a 7 fight winning streak (7-0, 6 KOs) since the Lewis fight. He was in great shape for the Wlad fight, weighed 228 lbs, 10 lbs lighter than he was against Lewis when he weighed 238 lbs.

    Mercer was ANNIHILATED by Wlad.

    Either Klitschko destroys any version of Mercer.

    Holyfield floored Mercer with a body shot.

    Wlad was the first man to knockdown Mercer with a head shot.

    Its hard to say who did better, Vitali was more dominate but Mercer fought a younger Lewis. Both men deserve credit for fighting very hard and pushing Lennox to the limit. Theres no need to get angry about the topic,
