To be fair, he received a BMD - British Majority Decision so... he didn't REALLY lose.

fact that it was a close fight is disgraceful

it would be like mayweather losing an SD to willie limond.

everybody has an off night or runs into that guy with a difficult style

maybe its better that Proska lost now so he can learn his lesson and polish his skills before stepping up to the bigs

he destroyed Sylvester and I think that was for real, i think this was a little bit of a fluke and like others have said Proska could have got the nod

You tell me? Cause he didn't actually lose that fight. He may have been getting backed up, but on the ropes in the exchange for 10 punches he landed 7 while hope for 10 only landed 3. He threw a **** tonne more throughout the fight, and Proksa still out landed him by the end of the day, and Proksas punchers were being thrown with much more mean intent since he was going for the KO. He got jobbed. Not by much, but it was a job. He should have won by 2 rounds at minimum, yet he lost, even with the point deduction for Hope.

That's bull****. Classic BMD. The blood pouring from his cut didn't help the judging, either. Neither did him getting backed up and put on the ropes. Made it seem like Hope was running **** in there, when in reality he was getting knocked around on the inside much more then he was dishing out.

You're right. It shouldn't even had been close because Proksa is a much better fighter then what he showed that night.

hope doesn't have a difficult style, his open wide and has a **** chin.

if hope had malignaggi's power proksa would have been finished

you lose to a complete bum you are one.

Bum Hope beat proksa so he's no rated ahead of him.

    proksa is below bum level.

Polish patriot being defensive about a Polish fighter, what a surprise. Proksa is 27 and lost to a bum. That's all there is to it.

His RJJ style doesn't suit him at all, in fact, it looks like he adopted that style solely due to the fact that it looks cool. Neither is he athletic enough nor skilled enough to operate it properly. Furthermore, that RJJ style has proven to be unsuitable for +30yo boxers who don't have the reflexes any longer. He's done, son. A hypejobe, a fluke, deal with it.

Not sure what to make out of this loss. Casting aside all the excuses of the cut, robbery, missing trainer...the bottom line is that it was a close fight and he lost.

His stock definitely went down...and as I have been saying for years unless he dedicates himself 100%. Meaning he stops playing around as a banker and all the other garbage he does on the side he will never be world level....We all know the natural talent is there...Hopefully this loss will help him get some bigger profile fights.

Yea he lost one fight, that he really didn't lose anyways. Let us completely throw everything he has shown and done so far in his career completely out the window, and write him off as a bum. :patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch

This has nothing to do with being Polish.

"Adopted" the style? He always has had an awkward style like that. How are you going to say he "adopted" it? What does that even mean?

Whatever dude. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I think it is foolish to completely write off a fighter who has shown lots of talent in his previous fights based on one "loss".

It's funny how guys that were on the Proksa train prior to this fight, now completely disregard him because of one performance. A bit ridiculous quite honestly.

If he performs like dick in his next two fights, then I will agree with you. But for now, I absolutely do not, and will not judge a whole fighter, based on a bad night, where seemingly everything went wrong.
