ok fair play, but I am clearly not a troll, its just the very big lunch slowing my brain, my apologies. The argument is the same regardless, Vitali is going out fighting lesser opponents than Lennox. Chisora is not even remotely a contender, he just lost to Tyson Fury. Fury is a joke.
G$ora trained @KFC And had ZERO Motivation for teh Tyson fight. :verysad In a Rematch, Diamond Del Boy cuts through Fury like a hot knife through butter. :deal Foreman Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook!:smoke
hes fun to watch, the costume at the Fury fight was out of this world, the staged fight with Haye was crazy, but Chisora wouldnt be fighting for the title if this was, say, the 1990s. Wouldn't be suprised if he did beat Fury in a rematch, Tyson is as good as..well, Tyson, these days. awful.
explain yourself, and I'll reply only when you do. Balls in your court until you do. vagueness doesnt cut it, I'm afraid.
vagueness...no...cut ..it...reeeply in eeeenglish. if you dont, one can only assume you had no argument to begin with. See, I've been nice by again asking you not to be vague and avoiding answering, but after this you are on your own in writing what you mean.
I was gutted and relieved at the same time. Gutted because it would obviously have been the biggest fight out there in the divison. Relieved because it was great seeing an English champ pull out one great performance and walk out on top. Lewis really put his all into turning that fight around and I'm not sure he could have repeated the efforts 12 months later. Lewis was already noticeably faded from his best years whilst Vitali was right in his prime. Chances are vitali would have won, but it wouldn't change the result of the fight they had. Vitali started well, Lewis came on string and ripped his face clean off.
Lewis was quoted as wanting Tyson II and RJJ before the fight with Vitali, the 2 biggest £££ fights out there. It was obvious he was cashing out. Then the WBC give Vitali his mandatory shot only to enforce a rematch after losing? Has this ever happened before or since? That's some bull**** right there. With a huge bank account and legacy fulfilled he got out on top which is what he wanted. Must be hard for a guy struggling against opposition that he'd have an easier time with earlier in his career.
Yeah it's fairly apparent that lewis didn't have any more legacy making fights. With hindsight a victory wlad would have been the best option. Who else was there though? Chris byrd was probably as good as it got and lewis wouldn't have got huge credit for that victory at the time, but again with hindsight it seems like it'd have been a good fight.
VITALI TOOK THE FIGHT ON SHORT NOTICE AND LEWIS USED HIS HEAD and hit and hold tactics, there was a cut opened by a punch but the corn row and hit and hold helped Lewis, I still feel Lewis was tired as well as Vitali but history showed us in hindsight that Vitali had late power while Lewis never stopped a man after the 8th round...there are still questions but IMO Vitali would be better prepared for a rematch and gained mentally from the fight while Lewis knew had it not been for the cut it was a uphill climb...Vitali would have a better shot at a late stop and even though he rocked Lewis I think he gets stronger as the fight goes on...Lewis still had a few fights left and was far from shot and we would have seen that had he fought Kirk Johnson or Byrd and not Vitali
