Fast? yes, I've seen faster punches landed, though, by himself even.

 

I have mentioned this in other threads. I was looking for this clip to post in the "Calzaghe faster than Roy" thread...


I have never seen a power shot that fast at any weight level. Show me someone else matching the pure speed you see in that clip.

Its not easy to find examples but like I said before, hearns destroying duran, that right was like lightning hitting him.

 

Maybe not a full knockdown, but a power punch? yes.

Roy Jones is in my opinion one of the four fastest boxers ever, I must say that when Ali knocked out Brian London, those punches was so fast I couldn´t see all of them. Sugar Ray had very fast hands as well.

I remember seeing that shot for the first time.

They didn't show Jones fights in the UK and I sent for fights on VHS. When Jones landed the left hook, right hand the buzz was outrageous.
