According to danish television tv2 sport,Team saurland is trying to make a fight at light heavyweight against Allan Green.Glen johnson has been named also to be the next opponent for Kessler.
Sauerland should have said something like: Kessler only have a couple of fights left in him,and we only want Big fights for kessler at this stage of his carreer....THOUGHT´s???:huh

Allan Green has looked bad ever since he had surgery and 2/3 of his colon was removed. Johnson is durable but has slowed greatly. Both would be a rather safe fight for Kessler I would guess.

He should stay at 168 and nothing more.

Well, my first thought: the words "big fights" and "Allan Green" could hardly make it in a very same meaningful phrase. Glen Johnson, maybe... but at LHW there are other current champions to be challenged. Sadly, this information probably means that Kessler's career is on the descending trail by now.

Personally what I would like to see if he is moving up to 175 :

Kessler V Johnson - Hes been out for a while and this fight is likely to be entertaining

Kessler V Pascal - Winnable fight for Kessler as both have been out for a while

Kessler V Cloud - IBF Title, Cloud arguably lost to campillo

Kessler V Froch 2 - Same result as last time with fair scoring

Kessler V Cleverly - Would be a huge event in cardiff. WBO Unification

Then Retire. these fights alone would cement Kesslers place in boxing history

I guess that is the only thing Kessler have never done...He has faced the best at 168...
Maybe he can make some noise in LHW....Allan Green ain´t a topdog, but could be a good first fight at the new weight for kessler, before taking on the bigger names.IF not,i dont see why he should move up at all...Team Sauerland hopefully have a plan with Kessler, that will give him some big fights at LHW.

Man.. I'm hoping the best for Kessler, if he needs another tune up then fine, but i don't want to see him grow into a cherry picker or see him get beaten up by fighters he would have defeated in his prime...
