You do realize the only reason you know that Chavez is a proven drug cheat is that the current testing in place is sufficient to catch him, right?

I've tried explaining to these idiots that the only one that will get stripped for refusing is Martinez. He has no inherent right to turn down the fight over this. Until now I thought Martinez would take Jr. Now I'm starting to wonder because it looks like Sergio don't want none....

What Jr. got popped for was diuretics, correct? I think a ton of fighters take them to make weight and it's certainly not a PED.

In fact, it's the opposite, if you have to use a great deal of them, they weaken the **** out of you.

sergio called out, and jr has been the only one calling his bluff.....he really wants to bully (or atleast try to) may and manny....he wants no part of chavez.....at all
not saying jr will destroy, or even beat him...but he knows chavez is a legit threat, and imo would rather lose to a bigger name like may, than chavez jr.....

Yes and got suspended for a year. He required steroids to compete against tomato cans.

No surprise a pig like you is backing up his steroid use. You did back-up Margarito's plaster use too claiming you fully believed he was blind and didn't know what was in his wraps.

You're a piece of trash, Tijuana cabbie.

I liked Wlad's answer to Povetkin. Sure, we'll test, but when I come back clean, YOU pay for the testing. Povetkin lost his 'way out' and just did a 'no show' at the presser.

But, building on that. I think either fighter should be able to require the testing if they are willing to pay for it. If one fails, then it comes out of their purse. If they both fail, they split the cost. That is the only way I can see it being feasible under the current state of affairs.

Freddy is a very biased mexican fighters fan in which its pretty obvious. And I knew when I first read that martinez wants drug testing that guys like freddy will say martinez dont really want chavez jr lol. And hermit im starting to respect you but please think man. You going to tell me that martinez all of a sudden never really want to fight chavez jr cause martinez wants drug testing in which chavez have fail before?

Martinez thinking he can get Jr stripped for refusing extra testing and then fighting for the vacant title is just beyond bizarre. It has NO basis in reality and he knows it. Can you find me any documentation from ANY of the orgs that say they will strip a champion for refusing extra testing at the demand of the mandatory? Seriously? He probably got a better deal than if this had gone to purse bid where there would have been zero negotiations. I can only come to one logical conclusion here.

Jr. was tested positive for a diuretic not a performance enhancer. But still it's illegal to be using such drugs.

I suspect he was using some similar diuretic to cut weight against Rubio, that would explain how he was able to rehydrate to over 20lbs on fight night.
