$15mill isn't a "career high payday" for Lewis... he got $35mill against Tyson's corpse. :nono Lewis also got more than $15mill against Holyfield both times, I just can't recall the exact purses now.
Well that's what he was offered back in '04. Anyway, Lewis said he would've rematched Vitali for $50mill back in '08 in Boxing Monthly magazine.
Lol. Why do Klit Lickers love to hang their argument about how "good" Klitschko is around the neck of Chris Byrd? Ike Ibeabuchi Blasted out Byrd in 6 rounds years before Klitschko got his hands on him. Ibeabuchi > Klitschko
Go back and read what I was refuting genius. "UD Tua is better than anything on both Klitschkos resume." I was simply proving it wasn't. And around the neck of Byrd huh. Solis, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Haye, Chisora, Adamek, the list goes on. And Byrd is really all Ike "I see demons" Ibeabuchi fans have to fall back on. The Tua fight was a gift decision that could have went either way. NOT a dominate victory. So lets not even talk Byrd :good
This isn't exactly coming out of left field being that it's Lennox, but exactly one year ago he was showering them - and particularly Vitali - with praise.
I'd be mad if I got retired before I wanted to hang 'em up too. If Lewis retired on top on his own terms, why would he have anything to be bitter about? Oh wait GOT retired, he didn't retire.
Pretty much yeah! The douchebag always seems to try and find a way to belittle the Klitschkos and their accomplishments. Sometimes it's blatant, like the interview here, and sometimes it's just snide little remarks.
I am shocked that are not at least a dozen posts of the standard Klitschko-hater anthem in this thread: "LewisTKO6".
When Lewis was champ, people said the same things about him and the HW division as he is saying about the Klitschkos now. How quickly people forget.
this doesn't make sense especially since Lewis wouldn't rematch Vitali in what would have been a huge PPV fight.
It's not particularly wise to say this stuff about one of the best fighters you ever beat. That's more of a thing to do when you're active, heat of the moment. Vitali isnt some young lad Lewis is sitting back with a cigar and critiquing. He's just as much a contemporary, Boss. You fought him.
