Because boxing is a clean sports unlike every other sports in the world. There is no need for it. Boxers are model citizens. They would never do PEDs. GOD told them not to.

I've been saying in a few past posts that Arum's anti Mayweather/De La Hoya plan, is to lure Mayweather up to 160 and face Chavez Jr. For this to happen Chavez Jr. needs to stay unbeaten. Avoiding Martinez is the best way to do this. In boxing impression is just as important as facts. So just as Pacquiao has gone through the motions in regaruds of a Mauyweather fight. Chavez will do the same with a Martinez fight. Arum knows that outside of Martinez there are a lot of good fights all winable for Chavez. He also knows that Mayweather who is getting older is not going to be fighting lower than 154 soon, and will have no where to go but up in weight.

Also, Arum won't allow JCC Jr to accept because it makes Manny look even ****ing worse for avoiding it.

Let's see. Martinez is mandatory. He has agreed to everything but he has one "demand". (Well, his words but he then throws in the month as another but we'll let that slide for now). He will push the WBC to strip Jr, if he (Martinez) turns down the fight over this as he says he will do? I'm a little rusty on my geography, remind me again what planet Argentina is on? As I see it Martinez has no right to retain his mandatory challenger status if he turns down the fight for this one reason since there are already testing standards in place. Adequacy and enforcement won't be allowed as an argument by the WBC. Especially for Jr. I have always thought Martinez was being over rated, but not nearly as much as Jr. so I'm really puzzled by this development and I now question Sergio really wanting this fight.

It is strange that JCC Jr didn't have a drug test in his last fight. That's not something that typically happens and if it does, they commission usually gets their sample anyway, somehow someway. So I do admit that is a bit odd.

But you mentioned that JCC Jr Cheated.... he took diuretics... Yes it's illegal but it has nothing to do with performance enhancements in the ring.

Sergio just doesn't make any sense to let additional drug testing be an excuse to let Jr go. He's been very critical of Chavez and now when he has the chance to fight him and prove that he's as limited and easy as he has expressed in the past, he needs additional testing.

For JCC Jr. I mean... OK, but it's not a good look for Martinez. He's just going to be shelved for a while. I think he's just waiting on Floyd or PAC which is dumb.

HBO can but they won't, they fear retaliation from Bob that he will take his money maker to Showtime like he did last time in retaliation for refusing to make Cotto-Mayorga PPV
