80% of Calzaghe fans(around 24 people) knew he existed after the Lacy fight.

The haters are mad joe whooped their idol and could steal their girlfriend in 2 seconds flat with his striking good looks. Joe Calzaghe " I'm glad I'm not ugly like hopkins" LOL

As far as showboating, I like how RJJ fans leave out the fact that RJJ showboated against a fat ass 40 year old Mike Mccallum. Yeah you idiots don't even know your idols own fights you only watch highlight videos on youtube you nerds

People can be negative all they want, but he beat Hopkins, Lacy, Kessler and RJJ (The shot version)

    He record speaks for itself.

Respect his accomplishments, and enjoyed him as a fighter.

Sigh in exasperation at how some of his fans inflate him into an ATG, but you can't hold Calzaghe responsible for that.

As fighters compete less and less, and big fights become more and more difficult to make, there will be more records like Calzaghe's in the future. No defeats, but few defining wins against other elite fighters. He is always going to polarise opinion based on his "0" and the lack of quality names on his record, particularly during what should have been his prime years.

im a big joe fan ,from wales ,but would be the first to admit he could of done much more. If joe had fought pavlick instead of rjj for his swan song people would of rated him so much higher. I wish hed bit the bullet and traveled to germany to school ottke.

Ironic that people should complain that Calzaghe showboated and humiliated Roy when he used to do the exact same against equally, if not more hapless opponents.

The Goat at 168 and 175.
How can you not respect that.

Quite frankly,he might be the GOAT at 168.But the GOAT at 175?Based on what:victories over shot (JC himself admitted that in his autobiography)Roy Jones and a Bernard Hopkins that lost twice to Jermaine Taylor at 160 years BEFORE he fought JC?Are you sure you want that statement on record? You can make a legitimate case for his being the GOAT at 168,but there is NOTHING to indicate he holds the same position at 175.

Yes although there's always a but with Calzaghe due to his countless meaningless defences, unwillingness to travel and sligtly padded record. That being said I'd rank him at no.2 at 168 pounds.

Ive seen many boxers at 175
from sugar lenord and sugar rob
    Sugar Joe was the best
that hopkins win is severely underrated and rjj was coming off his best win streak of his career.

While he KO'd them with the help of steroids. I cant see the problem with Joes showboating either.
