    No to what?
    says who?

    ..... :blood

    erm. ok.

So the fight doesnt get made, big deal. I think Martinez can live without fighting Chavez Jr. He had a good shot at losing that fight anyways. If anything, Chavez Jr just lost out on beating the middleweight champ  Great job.

To be fair to BBall and the original dude you were going back and forth with, neither said if he used diuretics he WOULD do more.. He said what makes you think he's not doing more.. And human nature tells us if someone is willing to step over the illegal line, they're likely to do it again.. Doesn't mean it will be a bigger thing, or a smaller one, but human nature tells us odds are they WILL do something illegal again. What you're arguing has never been stated by either of those posters..

 weed and heroin have nothing to do with eachother.

Diuretics can be used to prevent you from getting caught with steroids. I didn't say he's on roids, but they can hide it and that's a reason why they're illegal.

I think Chavez was just using them so he can cut weight since he does bloat up to 180 pounds on fight night.

It's just like when Manny Ramirez got caught with HCG. It's not a PED, but it's a masking agent to hide the fact that you're taking them. Which in turn makes it illegal.

Unless you guys are suggesting YEAR ROUND RANDOM testing, stop saying OSDT. NO ONE has done OSDT yet.

in my opinion everyone needs to do odst i dont care if the undercard heres why ill list
    1. cheating is high in boxing we all know we just dont want to admit
    2. boxing is a contact sport no one should have advantage odst stops those advantages
    3. steriods could do alot of harm to another boxer and thats up to and including death
it should be a requirement for all boxers but the best way to do it is cut off dates for not so good fighters and stricter for the moneys, pacmans, cotta, mosely etc etc (sorry if i didnt name your jesus) or they could even do it based off threshold of money made so example:
non of these numbers are real there to help you understand

mosely and cinnamon are making way less money than "money" and cotto

mayweather 30 mil and cotto 15 mil
canelo 10 mil and mosely 10 mil
    scrub "a" 500k and scrub "b" 500k

canelo, mosely, money, cotto are making millions they have to take odst up to the fight and after. scrubs just need to **** in the cup. would that no work?
also if one fighter makes the threshold and the other doesnt they both have to take the stricter test. <---- thats how you clean up the sport

and it should be a mininum of 3 fights a year to remain active unless due to injury. if you dont do 3 fights a year you should be fined plain and simple. if you decide to opt out of the test and the opponent is ok with that then the split should be 70/30 in favor of the tester. everyone would line up to test no way your giving the other guy 70% over a blood test

does it really matter? Only reason I say OSDT is because it's easy to type, but it's the same concept. The only person who could properly implement that is HBO/Showtime, the belt organizations, NSAC or another commission and promotion companies.

I do think Floyd should start having OSDT for Mayweather promotions though

There was no point to the original post if there was no implication. You don't need OSDT for diuretics. Post fight pisser is good enough. bball doesn't appear to even be reading the whole conversation so doesn't know the references. Like I said earlier, I would back a rule that if someone is willing to pay for the tests then they could force them but without year around random testing, nothing will improve anyhow. No one is even suggesting that.
