There is no Mayweather promotions. That's really just GBP.

I don't think HBO or SHO can require that. They aren't promoters or a boxing commission.

It's random blood testing from a starting period up to the fight. MAJOR difference from OSDT. And anyone can 'retire' between fights and not be subjected to them anyway.

It's possible but Chavez struggle with weight and lack of training earlier in his career point to why he used diuretics... Cheating is cheating but a lot of athletes who have to cut weight use diuretics to help cut weight..... I don't know..... Martinez should just fight Jr and keep it moving... He looks like he's shook or unsure of being able to win.

I like JCC Jr but the guy needs to man up and test. I mean afterall he has been caught using a diuretic.

Well Mayweather has no control of GBP's fighters. That's why I say Mayweather Promotions. Let's not go into that. And it's still possible for the 2 networks to require it if you're under their contract, but it'd make more sense for the commissions to do it.

and how is this testing MUCH different from OSDT other than the time frame? They even use the same organization

jr is a beast. he comes in at 180 on fight nite. he knows sergio is a tough fight. he would want to take any advantage he can because he knows he has a good chance at losing. serg is too fast and slick for him. bottom point jr is a known cheater

The only people who have a problem with this, and are bitching are the ones who were against this when Floyd wanted it with Pac. They can't be on board bc they feel it will make them hypocrites.

Sergio calls out Jr and demands the fight. Jr says OK and they agree to all terms except drug testing. Sergio knew when he was calling out Jr that the WBC did not require extra testing and would not impose it. Sergio says he won't fight without it. Not much else to it. He knew all along that he couldn't force the testing. His **** of wanting the WBC to strip Jr is just that. ****. Sergio will get stripped of his mandatory status since he has admitted to agreeing to money and all other terms. Extra testing falls outside the mandated rules and can't be used as an excuse not to fight Jr.

Why do you guys keep talking about mayweather promotions then? Guess who promotes Broner? Mayweather promotions is just a ****in vanity project. Lets see him promote a show for once before trying to act as if he's a promoter of anyone but himself. Honest question, Why the **** has Floyd put himself w/ GBP anyway? While calling himself a promoter? He's more a manager to a few fighters if anything. B ut I guess besides the point.

Research OSDT and get back with me. Like I said, what's to stop someone from 'retiring' between?

Both HBO and SHO accept certain legal liabilities my making requirements like this. HBO can dictate tests to their employee's. that's it. There's a BIG reason they do what they can to NOT be lumped in as 'promoters', even though that act as promoters.

what it is, is that sergio may now have realized that this fight is a lot tougher than he originally thought.

he's having 2nd thought, it happens just like floyd and gamboa.
