His 2 most emphatic, dramatic KOs...

He made Cuevas do La Cucaracha dance.

Made a lightning bolt come from the sky against Duran.

But I think I still have to go with Duran off sheer destructive force, Cuevas actually made it to his feet after that punch.

The only person who could survive that shot is Floyd. Floyd's legs would buckle slightly, but then he'd regroup and come back to school Hearns and even win the round.

Somebody needs to learn a thing or two about photography and video

It doesn't matter how much you slow it f*cking down by..

It's filmed at too low a framerate...

I could throw a f*cking punch bieng filmed by the same camera and easily have it blurred...

"even when slowed down to 95% it's still blurry" - no **** sherlock.

    Ok Raging Spielberg.

Guess that explains why you can see everything else moving at slow motion in the video...except for Hearns' punch?

Filmed at "too low of a framerate"? lol. Really. You are not in the know of this subject

Very bad style match up for Duran. Tommy is just too long.

Had Hearns landed this punch in round one it would have hurt Duran a lot, but I am not sure it knocks out Duran cold like that, since Duran had an extraordinary chin. Most guys wouldn't have taken all he took up to that knockout punch. Amazing chin.
I don't think Hearns could have landed that punch in round one. Duran in round one was more conscious of the punches and he was aware of what was happening. In round 2 he was dazed and wobbly and Hearns did that left jab to the body which he called the fadaway right move where he puts the jab in the body so the opponent thinks about the body and forgets the head and drops their arm to block the body which leaves open the head. Hearns did this same move with Leonard in 1989 after he knocked him down in 1989 and Ray just ducked under it. The previous round Duran would have probably ducked under it. I agree this was not a one punch knockout.

    you herp derp.

I can see the punch perfectly

This is overhyped merely because of a shitty camera... that is all...

Sorry buddy, but you need to surrender on this argument because that poster is absolutely correct. Normal capture rate on video cameras is 24 frames per second, and that is current. Most assuredly it was much less in the days of that fights. Modern high speed cameras have a capture rate of 1000 frames per second. Currently the fastest high speed camera in the world records at 200 million frames per second. So.... as I said. Surrender.

God damn what a right hand.

The fact Duran was still conscious and moving blows my mind.

It would easily be captured on video with today's cameras. Speed gets overhyped with low video quality

Whatever happened in earlier rounds does not take away the fact that it indeed was a one punch knockout. The punch that knocked him out was a single right hand which wasn't followed by any other punch. One and done.

Hearns hit him clean with numerous punches in the previous round and the beginning of round 2.
