We all have our views but i feel dissapointed that a decent poster such as yourself is coming out with the same tripe the lowly Klitschko nuthuggers come out with in the general.
For the most part BD you make good points in your posts but these statements are poor.

Both men took the fight on short notice which you should know and looks like you're choosing to ignore for the sake of making a void point.

Lewis gave Vitali he's shot 6 months early so the card in LA didn't fall through. Good on him. If it benefited anyone more it was Vitali.
Vitali harboured hopes of fighting the no1 Lewis from 99-00 and had obviously done his homework on the champion, what top contender worth his salt wouldn't. All Lewis seemed to know (or want to know) about Vitali is that he quit against Byrd.
That right there tells you who had the advantages going in on 1-2 weeks notice, that's before you bring age and inactivity into it.

You say Lewis was far from shot?
I can only assume you didn't watch Lewis much throughout his career.

    Headbutts and dreadlocks???
Yep those dreads were Lewis' third weapon! :-((

Lennox cutting Vitali with his dreadlocks is by far the most patethic excuse in boxing ever.

That and maybe Wlad being poisoned by Don King

At Least Haye showed us photos of his toe.

Sort of related question. In your view, was this a legit TKO?

Especially because, it's a well known fact that bald heads butt-cut the best. :yep

Wlad has the technique and I was impressed in his first win over
Peter. Vitali has heart, an awkard style, and a granite chin but other than
Sanders Im not impressed with Vitalis resume. I mean take Tyson and Lewis
You can overrate or underrate their resumes, but they both fought
monster fighters. But then again their were more monster type of fighters
back then. Anyway Lewis was in a war and did turn the tides in the Klitschko
Fight. The way Lewis timed the shot that cut Vitali was masterful. Any doctor
in his or her right mind would ve stopped the fight. Lennox had secured a
legacy. In my opinion POST TYSON Lewis is the GREATEST HEAVYWEIGHT of
His era. I dont think a win in a rematch would do much for his legacy
