Good, Man was/is a nob. Overated as a fighter too. Burns deserves WAY more credit than Harrison gets on this forum at times.

Dont like Bunce either. I was at his innaugral 'Bunce Show' at a little motel near Birmingham at a services. Gave it the big one all night about how he tells it like it is, and SLAGGED W.Arren off to **** all night. - Anyone not believing me, ask No Mas he was there with me too.
I appreciate he wanted a job and that but he should keep his mouth shut instead of having become the hypocrit he is now.

Agree with Rob for once here.

If there's any sense left in the BBBofC, he'll never be allowed his license back. No one wants to see him fight, no one needs to see him fight. It would be bordering on sadistic to allow a man so mentally shot to ply his trade in the boxing ring.

Peter Harrison, his father and trainer, told BBC Scotland: "The legal wrangle over who was to promote Scott's up-coming comeback fight has caused a great deal of stress and anxiety to Scott which has been shown in the last 48 hours.

"Scott is now taking a period of time to plan his boxing future.

"We will be making no more comment at this time and ask the media to respect our privacy."

Rob's response to Bunce may seem like an over-reaction, to what seemed like a fair comment, but it's Bunce's constant digs towards Sky that made it seem like he was having a sly go again.

Rob gives him hell, but a lot of it is justified. When you, I or anyone else spouts nonsense on this forum we are pulled up on it. I don't see why boxers/trainers/boxing writers should be an exception. Bunce can be decent at times, and at other times a hypocrite who talks so much rubbish, and doesn't even try to be subtle about it.

The irritating "tell it like it is" line that we've been fed all these years is one reason why Bunce get's more criticism from some people than Nelson, Piper, Smith etc. They are company men too, but they are not constantly trying to persuade us that they "tell it like it is" or are anything other than company men. Also, I realise Sky are by no means much great guardians of the sport, but we don't hear Adam Smith constantly slagging off his rivals or having little digs at them. They just get on with it, and don't try to come across as superior pundits.

  14. Harrison is just lucky that he was never stuck in with Marquez or Pacquiao.

Weight cutting wouldn't have done him any good against those two.
