Melbourne with Bobby Sinn. We spent a couple of days with Lionels wife and son Michael. A couple of days wth Robbie Peden and met up with a load of other fighters, Barry Michael, Ferreri, Graham Brook, Frank Ropis, Terry Grinsted, Henry Nissen and Lionels old trainer Jack Rennie. We all went to Kooyong where they fought and stood at Centre court where the ring was erected with Lionel's lad. Full on boxing and boozing week. Fammo was great, I gave him an old billposter from when he won the title from Legra and he signed me Famechon-Saldivar program, I've already got Saldivars signature in it. I asked him who was the best he fought and he said they were all good, when I pushed him hje sdaid Saldivar. All great fellas they were.

Watched Harold Johnson-Ezzard Charles in the early hours of last night. My scores were:

    1 - Johnson
    2 - Johnson
    3 - Charles
    4 - Charles
    5 - Johnson
    6 - Johnson
    7 - Charles
    8 - Charles
    9 - Charles
10 - 9-9 even (thought Johnson took the round but Ezzard scored a knockdown)

    so 95-94 Charles w/KD.

Good fight, a few tough rounds to score though. Could swing the fight either way imo.

Also watched Mickey Ward - Emmanuel Burton which is a fun fight to watch. didn't score it though, just sat back and enjoyed.

Halfway through Norton-Holmes at the minute but had to throw it on pause whilst I put the bairn to bed. Ill post my scorecard later tonight.
