I think he waits Hopkins-Dawson II outcome and then he will aim a fight with the winner of this rematch. It would have been better for him to have a stay busy fight / to stay active but I just think that he just wants some good money fights at his category. At LHW are just three big names that can make some noise : Hopkins-Pascal-Dawson ; this is the triangle .
I made a thread on this a few days ago.. He probably just wanted a break, recover from some injuries and wait for the winner of Dawson-Hopkins.. But i don't think it's a smart move from him to sit out in his prime..
U may be right, but he could have arranged several other top fights with the likes of Cleverly, Gutnekt, Cloud, among others. Also, there's no shame in fighting a top level journeyman to stay sharp between big fights. The Clevel at LHW is loaded with tough guys. Even Enzo woulda took a fight with him.:good
