Please! Vitali was ahead on all the cards and only quit the Byrd fight as he felt that continuing would permanently damage his health and cut his career short. He did not quit but made a call placing this one loss less important than his ring plans for the future
:good I can't wait until both are retired and we will hear the same stuff you just wrote up - only that it will come from their biggest critics today. They are easily overlooked because they are so dominant.

Wlad is better than 5 in the Heart department IMO.....the first fight against PEter shows that to me....always getting up after been wobbled......
Yeah, that's head-scratcher. I also don't get how he has superior endurance than Vitali considering he has gassed out and lost because of it.
Against what opposition? Really, when he's in there with a fighter who sets him out of his comfort he looks lost. A fighter who's prone to panic against pressure can't be classified as a 10 in ring general. Vitali, his brother, is actually a better commander of the ring despite his lack of technique and orthodoxy to his craft. Yes, Vitali generally fights poorer opposition but there's a reason he loses less rounds overall than his brother has, and it's because he's a better ring general. Did Wlad really show a complete control of range against Mormeck? More like a complete control over what range a boxing match can even take place at.
