I remember Booth saying "We are looking at one of three possible fights, a klitschko fight, Alexander Povetkin or Harrison."

The K brothers have boxed in front of a total of millions of fans in live attendance. Only a select few dozen boxers in history can claim the same feat. How is that killing boxing? You don't make any sense.

Whatever the K brothers are doing their live fans seem to love it and come back for more.

Do you expect him to say "we don't want this fight, Sky and Sauerland are pushing us into it"?

Either way, it's irrelevant. I always stated that the Harrison fight was poor so it doesn't make any sense to try and use it against me.

And apart from all that, if David Haye did do something to hurt boxing, why does that excuse the Klitschkos doing the same thing? It's inexcusable whoever does it.

Let me ask you a question. What is the best fight that has appeared on any K2 undercard?

Someone like Mayweather could fight a **** opponent on a **** card and charge $50 and still get high PPV buys. Pacquiao could do the same. That isn't a reflection fo whether it's good for boxing or not. Certain fighters will always be popular and their negative impact on the sport isn't reflected in their successes.

Things like this hurt the sport as a whole. They hurt other fighters, other promoters and hurt boxing in the future. That's why it's so greedy. The Klitschkos know they have a loyal fanbase who will watch regardless of what **** they give them. However, they will eventually become "Klitschko fans" and not "boxing fans".

Greed like this only helps the fighters in the main event but it greatly hurts the sport as a whole. Eventually, fans will get sick of mismatches which are supported by terrible undercards.

They don't earn a percentage of the ticket sales. They would in a co-promotional event but how often does that happen with K2? They earn a fixed sum, regardless of how successful the event is, and that's all.

Chisora and Mormeck were not paid any additional money because of ticket sales. To suggest otherwise is simply a lie. You're grasping at straws because you know there is no argument against what I'm saying.

Guys, look what I found at

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...adimir-and-Vitali-Klitschko-are-beatable.html

"LENNOX LEWIS insists the Klitschkos are beatable — but the man capable of ending their dominance is happily retired.
Between them, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko hold the WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO and Ring Magazine heavyweight titles.
Despite losing the WBA crown to Wladimir last year, David Haye believes he can redeem himself by returning to the ring and claiming the prestigious WBC strap from Vitali.

But while Lewis fancies his good friend's chances against the older Klitschko sibling, the former undisputed champion believes HE is the only man who could beat them both.
Lewis told SunSport: "People always ask if I'm tempted to go back in the ring and the answer is yeah, of course!

"When you see some of the fights out there, or a champion without a real test, I can't help thinking that I'm still his only competition — but I'm retired."

Before hanging up his gloves, Lewis took on Vitali in what proved to be the last of his 44 professional fights.
The contest was stopped in the sixth round due to a severe cut sustained by Klitschko, who maintains to this day that he was promised a rematch.
Despite the temptation of lacing them up one last time, Lewis has always resisted and is more than content with his lot.

But he does admit it is frustrating to watch the Klitschkos dominate the division he united by holding the WBC, IBF and IBO belts.
And the fact the heavyweight scene will never have one true champion while they remain active is something Lewis would love to change.
Speaking before recording a Virgin Media advert for ITV show Britain's Got Talent, he added: "Can the Klitschkos be beaten? Of course they can.
"I always tell people there's a guy out there who can beat them — and they quickly cotton on that it's me.
"It's funny, boxing passes through different eras and it's through no fault of their own that there happens to be no real competition out there for them.

"But boxing is a sport where it's all about being king of the hill, where people want to see one champion.
"We've got two champions right now, two brothers who won't fight each other, and that kind of devalues the whole heavyweight scene. That's what we're stuck with.
"There's definitely too many titles out there. When somebody says they're the champion, you can't help asking the champion of what?
"Unless you've got two belts, you're not a champion to me. The WBC is still the major title out there, it's the most prestigious."
Lewis believes the last opponent he ever faced is showing some serious signs of slowing up now that he is 40.

He said: "I was saying a while ago that Vitali's looking pretty heavy on his feet and is really relying on his size right now.
"Father Time is definitely knocking on his door."
As for Haye, Lewis claims the Londoner still has a chance of securing the fight he craves.
But he openly admits that Vitali could need Haye more than Haye needs Vitali.
The 46-year-old added: "When you look at the grand scheme of things, who else is out there?

"David wants to redeem himself against the bigger Klitschko, who I believe is the more awkward and difficult one, but maybe he can do better against the guy who doesn't move too well.
"I was surprised that David didn't get a better result against Wladimir, but like he said, he did hurt his toe.
"It's hard to move properly when you hurt your toe but, if it was me, I wouldn't have taken the fight because you have to be in perfect nick when you challenge the best.

"You have to be perfect on that day you step into the ring.
"All through training camp you could have injuries or the flu, but that date for the fight is still there, it's cemented and you have to do everything you can to survive until that day.
"When it comes to colds, belly aches, hurt toes, you have to make sure you don't have any of those."
Despite their close friendship, Lewis is adamant he would never have followed Haye's lead of indulging in pre-fght trash talking.

He said: "I realised that people can do all the talking they want, but it really comes down to what you do in the ring.
"When Mike Tyson fought me in 2002, he had all these tough guys around him — including a guy called Crocodile.
"But it didn't bother me because I knew he couldn't bring them in the ring with him, it was just me and him.
"To shut them up, all I had to do was beat Tyson — and I did just that.

"All I ever had to say to people was, 'OK, say what you like but we'll see what happens in the ring'. I'm like the silent assassin."
Unfortunately for fight fans, the 'silent assassin' is enjoying life at home watching his four children grow up.
But the urge of smashing the stranglehold the Klitschko brothers have on heavyweight boxing will never go away. "

Like I said, the money the fighters earn is predetermined and is not affected by ticket sales. Whether it was Vitali and Wlad on the same card or not, their opponents would earn the same amount.

The only people who are making more profit, are Wlad and Vitali. The fans lose out, their opposition make the same but Wlad and Vitali earn more money.

I still think he feels a bit of a sting for being retired by Vitali.

What you did there is genius! You ignore every point I made and then created an argument against it. Awesome.

Fighters should never be allowed to have a one way relationship with the fans. The fans deserve to be entertained and that does not happen if you give them mismatches without any sort of undercard. If Wlad wants to fight Mormeck, that's fine, but why not fight him on the undercard of Vitali's fight or why not pay to have a decent undercard himself? There are plenty of promotional groups they could work with in order to give those fighters exposure and give the fans a good undercard.

But no. Instead of doing the right thing for boxing, the Klitschkos both show absolute greed and rip their fans off by promoting mismatches as major fights and they don't even have the decency to give fans a good undercard.

When Mayweather fights, it's usually against a good opponent and with a good undercard. When Pacquiao fights, he does the same. When any fighter on Top Rank's or Golden Boy's roster fights, there is a solid undercard. When Sauerland, FW, King, Hearn and many more promoters have a card, they ensure that the fans get a good main event and good undercard. Why? Because that is what helps boxing and the more boxing gives back to it's fans, the more boxing will thrive in the future.

Personal greed has no place in boxing and fans should always be against it. What is sad is that people like you excuse it.

Afolabi-Brudov was a on the Wlad-Mormeck undercard and a WBO Cruiserweight title fight.

Banks-Firtha was on the Vitali-Chisora undercard and was for the NABF heavyweight title, sure it's trash but a decent undercard fight.

Germany never had a history of great undercards and German TV doesn't even televise undercards cause viewers only care about the main event.
