This has nothing to do with race, Ali, Louis and Lewis are clearly always going to be considered better

Tyson was the ultimate can crusher. Because of that he was sensationalized.

If you take away the media hype all he is is an exceptional small fighter who didn't have it in him to be dominant at a champions level.

^Doesn't get any more unbiased and truthful than that. But...go ahead and spam some Tyson KO1 Wlad

Tyson was undisputed champ at an age when most boxers, including the sisters, haven't turned pro yet. He also transcended the sport whereas the Klits barely transcend their own homes.

Oh, and he didn't have a tag team partner to help him do it.

No, but he would beat mental midget Mike Tyson so bad he would think Kevin Mcbride was actually a fat irish bum

Tyson's opposition on the whole was average for a heavyweight champ. While he didn't beat a great fighter in their prime, he did beat 10 fighters who held alphabet titles with the 3 main bodies.

Wlad's opposition is comparable, but Tyson doesn't have the eyesore losses that exist on Wlad's record - Douglas is obviously the low point, but he was a much better fighter than Purrity and a bit better than the version of Sanders that beat Wlad. H2H it's difficult to see a fighter as vulnerable as Wlad under fire standing upto Tyson's early rounds attack. If he got past the halfway mark he'd have a decent chance of victory, but the likely outcome would be an early Tyson ko.

Vitali's best 3 wins stack up poorly against any other great or near great heavy, despite being hypothetically a more challenging H2H match-up.
