    Great post!

Tyson is one of the most overrated fighters of all time. He was a one dimensional punching bag. He was a mentally weak punk ass ***** who always folded like a cheap tent when things didn't go his way. He got KTFO 5 times and never avenged any of his embarrassing losses.

Both Klitschkos are far more dominant, have better resumes, better statistics, more title defences, higher KO percentages, etc.

    Vitali Klitschko >>> Mike Tyson

    Wladimir Klitschko >>> Mike Tyson

Either Klitschko would destroy any version of Tyson.

Vitali and Tyson have 5 common opponents:

Lennox Lewis, Danny Williams, Orlin Norris, Julius Francis, Jose Ribalta

Vitali did better against every common opponent.

    Tyson KO'd Francis in 2.

    Vitali KO'd Francis in 2.

    Tyson-Norris was a no contest.

Vitali destroyed Norris in the 1st round.

    Tyson KO'd Ribalta in 10.

    Vitali KO'd Ribalta in 2.

Tyson lost every round and got KO'd by Lewis.

Lewis was badly hurt several times, almost KO'd, outworked, outslugged, outmuscled, outboxed, outlanded 156-102, dominated and retired by Vitali.

    Williams destroyed Tyson in 4.

Vitali annihilated Williams. It was one of the most brutal beatdowns of all time.

Any version of Tyson gets dominated and KTFO by either Klitschko.

    Debate?

    You need to wake up.

There is NO debating going on here.

Just a bunch of Klit Lickers screaming at the top of their lungs in an effort to convince themselves that the Klit sisters are on the same level as ATG HWs.

    Stop smoking crack...

This is why Klitschko fans have a bad name. They simply pick an American Legend who is beloved and then use him as collateral damage in efforts to boost up the Klitschkos.

Tyson's era was a little better than today. The 80s are typically underrated because they were in between the 70s and 90s two of boxings deepest Heavyweight eras. The difference between the 80s and the 00s is that in the 80s the fighters were in better shape. The fighters could fight for 15 rounds. The same cannot be said about today. Today they fighters lack finesse; they lack drive. They operate as a business more than they do as a fighter. Povetkin has been a total ***** using every excuse in the book not to face Wlad. It's not Wlad's fault but it says something about the division. It says something when fighters or contenders turn down title shots.

    By the way:

Has Vitaly ever unified the titles?
    Has Wlad ever been undisputed?

I think we can all agree that Larry Holmes is a great fighter but as for your comment regarding the "fat old Holmes;" how old was Lennox Lewis when he stopped Vitaly in 6 rounds?

When Mike Tyson at his advanced age was looking for what his handler's considered a soft touch, he fights Danny Williams. Vitaly Klitschko wins the WBC belt; he's in his prime yet he chooses that same soft touch in Danny Williams as his first title defense before being scared off into retirement by the boogeyman Hasim Rahman :hey. What does that tell you about this division?

In any head to head match up Mike Tyson would stop both Klitschkos.

They are out in full force.

Bruce Seldon is on par with today's best HW contenders.

Vitaly has no business being compared to Mike Tyson because there is no plausible argument for him to be ranked ahead of Tyson. So lets talk Wlad.

15 best names on the W column (in no order).

    Wlad

    Byrd 2x
    Peter 2x
    Haye
    Brewster
    McCline
    Chagaev
    Ibragimov
    Botha
    Rahman
    Thompson
    Mercer
    Brock
    Barrett
    Chambers
    Austin.

    Tyson

    Ruddock 2x
    Bruno 2x
    Tucker
    Spinks
    Holmes
    Thomas
    Biggs
    Botha
    Tubbs
    Berbick
    Smith
    C Williams
    Seldon
    Golota
    Savarese
    Stewart.

Tyson beat better fighters overall. There are some who would argue that their resume's are comparable but when begin to group Klitschko victims and Tyson victims in to categories I find that he Tyson victim has a little more panache.

    For instance.
    Ruddock > Peter
    Biggs > Chambers
    Tucker > Thompson

    etc.

The other thing is Tyson beat his opponents far more impressively. Call it a stylistic preference but he seldom lost rounds as well. And his losses when he was relevant to the division are far more excusable; Puritty, Sanders and Brewster are worse than Douglas, Holyfield and Lewis.

what's the relevance of these videos. even a 265lb danny williams can land haymakers on a one legged 38 year old tyson (show danny in round 1 before the knee injury). brigning up dannys 'win' here is like praising byrd's 'win' over vitaly imo (tho u wonder if vit could've finished the fight w/ his one arm to his side tho.....)

Get out of my country idiot:canada
I hated Tyson back in the day but absolutely no one could deny his greatness in his prime.

either you are barely out of your teens and never say him at his best or you are a fool who thinks that the bros are actually great boxers and if you do do not fight like them you suck:lol:. My take is that you are both so you should do us all a favour and keep quite will the grown-ups talk boxing

Damn good questions. I got a fresh crisp new $20 that says the Klit Lickers tap dance around these question like Fred Astaire.

Prime Mike Tyson KO's an old fat 38 year old Larry Holmes and an old fat 38 year old Lennox Lewis KO's prime Vitali Klitschko.

    The irony.

    Lol...

Was Lennox Lewis ever #1 or #2 P4P?

    Or Evander Holyfield? Bowe?

They were not and that does not make them less great.
