Well there's no getting around it really, Tyson's actual body of work puts him on par with Vitali's cv and behind Wlad's. The only possible reason you could have him ahead of Wlad is depending on how much you rate Tyson's win over the corpse of Holmes.

    Wlad

    Byrd 2x
    Peter 2x
    Haye
    Brewster
    McCline
    Chagaev
    Ibragimov
    Botha
    Rahman
    Thompson
    Mercer
    Brock
    Barrett
    Chambers
    Austin.

    Tyson

    Ruddock 2x
    Bruno 2x
    Tucker
    Spinks
    Holmes
    Thomas
    Biggs
    Botha
    Tubbs
    Berbick
    Smith
    C Williams
    Seldon
    Golota
    Savarese
    Stewart.

    Vitali

    Sanders
    Adamek
    Juan Carlos Gomez
    Peter
    Solis
    Hide
    Donald
    Norris
    Bean
    Chisora
    Kirk Johnson
    Kevin Johnson
    Hoffmann
    Williams
    Arrola
    Briggs

I've added Vitali's cv to your previous to show the similar standard to Tyson's own cv that deserves to be seen.

Now I have as Tyson's best win his over Spinks. Yes in hindsight we now know that Spinks had crumbled before the fight took place but that doesn't matter, he was by far the best fight on paper Tyson could make and as so is Mike's best win. Arguing against this statement is as daft as claiming a certain fighter "didn't put the hours in during training so his defeat doesn't mean as much". Bull**** says I! That is not a worthy excuse.

The fact is Tyson when Compared to the 3 other HOF HW's in his age range see's Tyson finish as a clear 4th behind them, basically he is a clear last place when placed next to the HOF's from his era. Below is how I rank them.

The greats that came through at the same time as him and were the same age or there about.

So that leaves us with the 4 top dogs from that era. Tyson, Bowe, Holyfield and Lewis, so where do you rank them and why?

    Here's mine.

    1. Lewis

This is a easy one really, Gold medal winning olympian, head to head against the 3 other greats of his age group gives him a great record of 3 fights, 2 wins and a draw.

    2. Holyfield

Went for the best, ducked nobody. an amazing 7 fights against the other greats in this era resulting in 3 victories, 2 of which saw him crush and break Mike tyson's heart. along with 3 losses and a draw.

    3.Bowe

Only ever one defeat to the ATG Holyfield which he avenged twice!

    4. Tyson

Propping up these beasts of men is Tyson, good boxer but his 3 fights and 3 defeats against the best of his era puts him bottom of this pile.

R people going insane around here or is it just ignorance??? Tyson absolutely cleaned the HW Division and unified the titles that the Dynamic Duo King and Butch Lewis had envisioned for Tony Tubbs ( former WBA titlist), Trevor Berbick (RIP, WBC titlist) and the winner of Holmes-M.Spinks 4 the IBF version... Then, there was a rematch and controversially Spinks retained his title but refused to put it on the line against either Tony Tucker or Buster Douglas who had earned top contendership so he was stripped of the IBF title, Tony Tucker won the title the same night Mike beat Pinklon Thomas for the WBA-WBC versions he had won in a famous 2nd round stoppage against Berbick and a valse and clinch affair against Bonecrusher Smith... Tyson faced even Thomas who had won the title from Tim Witherspoon and lost it to Berbick, faced Tubbs even though he was no longer WBA champion, Olympic Gold medallist in Biggs, but specially against that legend and fit 225 pounds 6'3'' tall Larry Holmes and Michael Spinks, and Carl Williams, and Frank Bruno, and of course Tony Tucker... And you low lyin lil pieces of... dare to question his accomplisments???!!!

I'm trying to meet the Klitschko fans half way. They say Tyson fought in a weak era so ok, let's say he did. He atleast did it in style.

Wlad's resume is clearly superior to Tyson's resume.

    Lets breakdown Tyson's resume:

Ruddock - bum who got KTFO by Tommy Morrison and David Jaco

Bruno - overrated bum who never accomplished jack **** in his career

Tucker - got KTFO in 2 rounds by Herbie Hide, who was destroyed in 2 rounds by Vitali

Spinks - spent 95% of his career at 175 and 168

Holmes - old shot overrated bum beater

    Thomas - tomato can

    Biggs - tomato can

    Botha - bum

    Tubbs - bum

    Berbick - bum

    Smith - bum

    Williams - tomato can

    Seldon - bum

    Savarese - bum

    Stewart - bum

Golota - got KTFO by 4 Klitschko victims (Brewster, Adamek, Austin, Lewis)

Tyson was a ridiculously overrated bum beater. He got KTFO 5 times and quit twice. He never avenged any of his embarrassing losses.

    Loss KO4 Danny Williams

    Loss KO10 Buster Douglas

    Loss TKO11 Evander Holyfield

    Loss DQ3 Evander Holyfield

    Loss KO8 Lennox Lewis

    Loss KO6 Kevin McBride
