:think you think so? One of those little fighters from around the 122/126 divisions could clean out them out and make a big splash.

Yeah Jose is my other dog. Plus he has a lot of pieces that can help him. He's starting at 140 and he can get a future fight with Delurme, Gomez and maybe even Kell Brook himself.

Then Mikey Garcia, Gamboa, Donaire, Rigondeaux, Gary Russel Jr, and are all near each other Niskioka

    David Lemieux.

No alcohol. No partying. No junk food. Evah. :smoke

If I could, I'd teach him all the in's & out's of bobbing + weaving, consistently closing the distance in on his opponent, picking his shots instead of unloading wildly, and work on effective combos which maximize the leverage he can pull off from his t-rex arms and heavy hands. Maybe work on sneaky uppercuts in the pocket. On defense, learn to roll with punches and explode with a counter (or three.. or four).

Tune-up fight -- Alcine, grind him down to a mid-round KO.

Momentum/test fight -- Shot Taylor, lots of inside work and aim for a brutal KO around round 9-10

Championship fight -- Chavez Jr, even if the drunken kid comes in at one eighty ****in five pounds. Inside battle, get Junior to work his ass off over the first half of the fight, crank it up several notches going into the second half. Batter Mr DWI up with every punch in the book and eventually land several consecutive big blows.

Thats a good choice cause in the right hands the man is a future upper tier p4p fighter. Like you said, If he straighten out that right hand and fight tall more so than the inside game, he will be a monster man. One of the best things about him is that he is balanced in the head.:bbb

I wouldnt mind training Kell Brooks cause he wont get what he needs in the UK.However before that my choice is James Kirkland. He loves to fight and contrary to popular belief, he is a thinking man. I would slow his attack down just a tad to make it more measured, tighten up his boxing and improve his head movement and feints. After that I would turn the beast loose and watch him make the ATG list.:bbb

:yep I think the Brook fight should build up hype first.
Yeah and that's what Mike needs to do. Let the Philly come out. Not like Meldrick Taylor though :D

Yeah Mike reminds me a lot of Paul Williams. I think Mike has a better supporting cast around him though, but they may not be good enough. I hope Nazim Richardson picks him up. Floyd Mayweather Sr even did mitts with him once, he could pick him up
