    You don't thin he can be a star? I think he will be, a manufactured star ala Canelo. He's good looking guy, Top Rank, white, fast, in shape. I think he can be a star.

    I think he'll be a title holder who is kept from a real challenger...who then suffers a loss to a guy he should never lose to and stay on the fringes for a while...oddly I'm thinking a lighter Nathan Cleverly...

    In fact...Jorge Linares is now springing to mind "Lots of speed, lovely combo's but...nothing on his shots...and suspect durability"

    Taylor vs. Truax & Lara vs. Hearns are both mismatches, but for some reason I'm looking forward to that doubleheader. :conf

    It's probably just the fact that Taylor and Lara are staying busy.

    i'm looking at magdaleno's boxrec and a lot of his UD victories are over fighters that apparently have solid chins and are durable, for example Rodrigo Aranda was only stopped once in 17 losses.
