Would Salido carry the extra 4 pounds well?

Does he have a chance at closing the distance on Broner and land power punches?

Would Broner's strategy be to keep the fight on the outside to potshot Salido here & there so to cruise to a decision?

    What do you guys think?

Salido would get his ass kicked for every second of every round this lasted, which wouldn't be long.

hell yeah he would carry the 4 pounds well and so would lopez. infact i think lopez moves up to 130 for a broner fight or maybe gamboa.all them guys can fight perfect at 130.

Style wise Broner will win this fight especially if it takes place now. Salido should take on an easier opponent and then on someone like Broner who is still fresh and hasnt been in a war fight yet. Though Salido won another thriller against Juanma, he took some hardshots in that fight. He needs time to heal and resting. It will be something similar of when Margarito defeated Cotto in their first fight but it was brutal in which he received a lot of punishtment and then decided to rush his fight with Mosley.

I still wouldnt want him to face Broner on his next fight if its in August. He should fight someone will a similar style like Broner first. That has speed and more of a boxer. Juanma is a brawler just like Salido and thats why they match up so well. To much of a difference style wise from fighting Juanma and then stepping in with Broner on your next fight.

I'd favor Broner, but Salido would be a stiff test stylistically. Not only is he durable, but he's savvy and has the experience to take Broner out of his wait-and-counter rhythm and rough him up with pressure and infighting tricks.

Make it happen. I've said before the Salido could cause problems for Broner and just overwork Broner when he shells up. BUT Broner can catch him with that counter uppercut coming in and can for sure knock on Salido.

I say it's 60/40 in favor for Broner

Broner is not a defenseless bum who sticks his chin out in the air like JMLopez.

Salido should be careful what he wish for.

Am I the only one who saw Salido get both eyes swollen by a Lopez who was embarrassingly slow, no crispness on his punches who looked timid with no defense "none" , Salido went life and death against a shot looking jml, there's no way he moves up and competes against a young, fast, hard hitting, defensively sound young lion, we all saw what happen to Salido against a fast Gamboa who's doesn't possess the defense of Broner...

Salido sit your ass all the way down, you get credit for owning a defensively challenged hype-job who I am confident will lose to every elite fighter he faces but you are not ready, you don't won't them "problems"...

Let's also put in mind that Gamboa gave him an ass whooping.

Salido doesn't do well with fast slick fighters.

Bad style match up for Salido, but I would be very happy if he won.
