Try $500 to $1000 as their low figures, Mayweather the Olympic Bronze Medalist made $7500 in his 3rd pro fight. He was by far more popular at that point then most of the average fighters ever get.

It would be unfair to say Calvin Brock was even Average, the man fought on the Olympic team for the United States, sure this isn't Holyfield's olympic squad but most average guys don't get past the National PAL tournament.

these average fighters make £12k ($17k) a year - from david haye, that's why when he was a promoter he didn't take a percenage cut from these fighters

Cunningham is average, anyone below him are regarded as bums, cans, journeymen, trash, garbage and so forth...

There's no way you can give examples of an average boxer with each of us at different countries.. Average boxers are boxers who's name won't be popular even on his owns countrymen.. That's my definition of it.. :D

Out of those 1000 guys a lot of them after say 700 are one hit wonders, they fight once and you never hear from them again. Also I was using just Western fighters as it makes a bit more apples to apples comparison, also the issue of fake(never lacing up gloves but having fight records prior to their "big money" bout) happens a bit more in the Eastern Europe, Africa, and South America then it does in the West.

Do you understand how mathematical averages work? It's not about what you consider average. Cunningham is actually far above average.

A lot of the guys don't have a single win on their record...most have 6 or 8 fights though

it was in a magazine but i can't remember.he has said his average purse for a four rounder is 500 pound and against a top prospect 1000 pound, journeymen fight alot so if they don't get ko'd and suspended they can make money.he did say he paid of his mortgage along time ago
