I know you are about the biggest Pavlik nuthugger besides Booradly so ill not bother argueing with you.
But Taylor did not go from "prime" to shot to **** in 1 year and 8 months.
He looked the same limited version from Pavlik 1 to Abraham.

Except Abraham looked the most impressive between Pavlik and Froch by actually outboxing Taylor start to finish and then stopping him even while getting hit low numerous times.

You are too much of a Pavlik fan to understand his limitations, he has never been disciplined defensively for crying out loud he was purposely taking bombs vs Miranda and Taylor.

Pavliks style and attributes means he would be more succesful than Abraham at 168 or even 160 vs elite opponants (even though he would lose) but when it comes to a Abraham vs Pavlik bout his style plays completely in Abrahams hands (stand right infront at medium range and unload like he ALWAYS does when given the chance)

Once your obsession fades and you can analyse objectively you will understand this.

*edit considering your Pavlik obsession im not going to argue this topic further as it would be pointless, i do respect however that you remained loyal to him through thick and thin.

Abraham did not beat the Same Taylor that Pavlik did. You actually think that that little peck of a punch that Abraham landed that knocked Taylor tfo caused all of his neurological damage. Mainly Pavlik and Froch caused his neurological problems.

That punch that Abraham knocked Taylor out with would not have knocked him out in his prime. Pavlik and Froch destroyed his punch resistance. Being neurologically damaged effects much more then just punch resistance. It can effect cordination along with many other things that can have a great impact on a boxer.

Abraham did do damage to Taylor also, but Pavlik and then Froch had him well on his way to being out of boxing it was not only Abrahams doing. I just think Pavlik beat a fresher less damaged Taylor. By the way I think Abraham is about the hardest puncher p4p.

Dude of course Pavlik fought a fresher version of Taylor, but that was a hell of a punch from AA which landed right on Jermaine's chin. The result would have been the same with any version of JT and not many boxers would take that punch without going down. Watch it closely.

Was maybe a little bit better punch then I remembered. The punch did not look as brutal as what Pavlik landed on Taylor and Taylor was totally disconected with that single shot from Abraham.

Arthur Abraham does not beat Kelly Pavlik at any point in their professional history.

i think pavliks jab will split that guard of abrahams then he deliver that straight rt. I dont think kelly would let abraham get close enough to land a devastating blow

You should watch more of Abrahams knockouts unlike Pavlik these are not accumelation knockouts.
AA knockout victems look like they have been shot dead completely disconnected from all senses.

Not saying Abraham is some elite or anything but his power is very real.
Taylor showed the exact same effect that NUMEROUS AA victems showed.

Pavlik never had that kind of power hence he throws 100 shots a round.

People need to learn the difference between a accumelation puncher and a 1 punch ktfo puncher.

Much like people need to learn to differentiate styles and physical attributes.

Back when Miranda was still seen as this vicious power punching monster Pavlik still stood there RIGHT infront of him.
Why? because thats what he does when someone stops moving, he stands at medium range and unloads because he is confident he will outlast anyone like that.
He would do EXACTLY the same thing vs Abraham because thats what Pavlik does, and thats what would get his head knocked off.

The problem with Pavlik fans is that they seem frustrated and refuse to give AA any credit, even for his obvious power. Pretty sad. :hat

I think Abraham has more one punch power. I just think Taylors reaction to that punch was more then it would have been if he had never been knock out before.

I think his punch resistance was going down hill after Pavlik and Froch knocked him out.

I thought Daruf meant that the Taylor Abraham beat was as good as the one that Pavlik beat. That may not have quite been the case though.

I'd rather see Abraham vs Gennady Golovkin
