Martinez has every right to ask for blood and urine test. Chavez has failed drug test before but we must look at this from another angle as well. Chavez didn't even take a post fight drug test after his last bout but his opponent did. They "forgot" to take his test which is a load of bull**** and we all know it. There is a reason why they didn't do his test and its bc his ass was taking something so that he could make weight.

 

diuretics. can easily be caught with the standard testing. but boxers should be required to take a simple drug test after the fight. this is what martinez should be demanding.

What if Vargas had knocked Oscar out and then failed his post fight test? He would have knocked Oscar out but the victory would have been over turned yet the damage would have already been done. There is nothing wrong with pre fight testing while in training to make sure everyone is on the up and up come fight night. Please tell me what why you have a problem with this request?
