Chatman is a strong little tank of a light middleweight, and isn't a terrible boxer - but doesn't really excel in any area.

He did have a string of upsets against unbeaten prospects recently (beating two and drawing with one)

Charlo is forking out his jab and holding Chatman back with it pressed against his forehead. Charlo is using some slick defensive moves, upper body movement and footwork. Chatman is firing straight lefts at the body and just tickling Charlo with them as he circles and backs up to take the sting off. Charlo lands his left jab at will. Chatman is jogging to his right and trying to find an angle to peck in with his southpaw jab. They clash together and tie up while both throwing. Chatman throws a ragged combo, hammering Charlo in the lower back. Left hook by Charlo as Chatman is backing out. Chatman leans over to one side and targets the body, lunging.

Charlo circles and jabs, in a relaxed rhythm. Chatman follows in a trance, firing lefts to the body and going through the motions. Suddenly a big fast shot to the chin lands, a perfect 1-2 through the eye of the needle, and Charlo scores a big knockdown!! Chatman is all ****ed up!! He is up at the count of seven, but stumbling around down ***** Street! Symons abandons the count and waves it off!
