In your view, was George Foreman largely right in this interview about Wlad?

What should Wladimir Klitschko’s legacy be when it’s all said and done?

GF: Well, he’s a defensive fighter. It doesn’t matter if his opponent is big or small, he will never take any chances. He’ll probably go down as one of the most reluctant Heavyweight Champions ever. Floyd Patterson wasn’t that big, but at least he took a chance and stood in front of Sonny Liston. So he’s not going to go down as the bravest guy. The reason why he’s reluctant is because he has a weak chin. He’s always trying to protect that chin, but he’s not going to leave much of a legacy.

RC: If Wladimir would have been around during the times when fighters like yourself, Norton, Shavers, Ali, or Liston fought, what would have happened?

GF: He could have stood the test in any era because he’s so defensive. However, those guys would have walked right through him. If he’s afraid to engage against a fighter like David Haye, he would have been frightened against Sonny Liston. Can you imagine Joe Frazier coming after him? I don’t think he would have been able to do well.

That might be George's actual feelings. Of course, he'll later say "There's now no doubt Wladimir Klitschko is the greatest of all times." after Wlad knocks out Thompson or something like that. He can't himself. :yep

Foreman is a moron. He was talking out of his ass as usual. When he did that interview he was still butthurt because Team Klitschko closed the door on his face and embarrassed him during the ring entrance. It was the other way around, Haye was afraid to engage with Wlad. He went into survival mode and was running for his life and flopping like a ***** all night.

    Foreman can't hold Wladimir's jockstrap.

    Wladimir Klitschko

    - IBF/WBO/WBA/IBO/RING Unified Heavyweight Champion of the world

    - All Time Great and Hall Of Famer

    - Olympic Gold Medalist

    - Ring Magazine Top 5 P4P Fighter

    - 57 wins, 50 knockouts

    - Statistically 2nd most dominant fighter of all time (Vitali Klitschko is the most dominant fighter of all time)

    - longest title reign without getting knocked down

    - has made 17 title defences

    - has defeated 11 world champions, tons of top contenders, 9 undefeated fighters, etc.

Wladimir would be too strong, too athletic, too fast, too elusive, too smart, too skilled and too powerful for the dumb slow as molasses punching bag Foreman.

Wladimir destroys Foreman, dominates Ali, annihilates Frazier, Liston, etc.

He stood right in front of Wlad with his hands down for a fair bit of the fight.:huh

I'll agree, Haye didn't engage much either, neither of them did, but to say he was 'running' all night is simply false. As said, Haye, the much smaller man, stood right in front of Wlad with his hands down for at least a decent slice of the fight.

Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit. Wlad has mastered the sweet science. He would dominate any era.

    Wladimir Klitschko vs David Haye

    THE FACTS

Haye was afraid to engage with Wlad. He went into survival mode and was running for his life and flopping like a ***** all night.

    Wlad dominated the fight.

    Wlad won every round.

Wlad was the aggressor from start to finish.

    Wlad boxed beautifully.

Wlad made Haye look like an amatuer.

Wlad threw twice as many punches as Haye.

Wlad landed twice as many punches as Haye.

Wlad outlanded Haye in every round.

Wlad hurt Haye several times and made him spend the entire fight in survival mode running for his life, flopping like a ***** and taking knees.

Haye was totally outclassed, outskilled, outsmarted, schooled, dominated and humiliated by Wlad.

    I scored it a shutout 120-107

    Masterful dominant win for Wlad.

Check out this video, all of the British boxing experts bashed Haye and praised Wlad's masterful performance. They all gave Wlad full credit for dominating Haye. Too bad you butthurt Brittards/Klitschko haters can't do the same.

Foreman is right. Truth hurts. Would be scary to see him in there with guys that forced him out of his comfort zone. The sheer panic on Wlad would resemble a 14 year old girl watching Paranormal Activity.

I wouldn't say he was at all, especially taking into account the huge size advantage he had. In fact, come to think of it, I can't remember him being particularly aggressive at all.

If one's kind you could say he very much stood his ground for much of the fight, though he certainly didn't overly push the action.
