    Kirkland comes forward throwing hard left hands. He is starting to connect!! Molina is hurt and holds! Damn!! Molina slides down against Kirkland while holding him, almost slumping to his knees but using Kirkland to hold himself up. Kirkland is throwing hard lefts up top and down low. Molina lands a straight right counter and a left hook before clinching, back to the ropes. Molina is on shaky legs and trying desperately to tie up. He shoves Kirkland into the ropes and pushes him through them. Kirkland seems a bit punched out. LEFT HOOK BY MOLINA!! Kirkland down!!!!!!! Ruled a slip!! BIG OVERHAND RIGHT BY MOLINA! LEFT HOOK!! Kirkland ducks but gets hit!! Clinch. Molina punches on the break. Molina found his inner gorilla!! Kirkland lost his!! Great round!!! 1-2 by Kirkland, sloppy but glancing. OH ****, Kirkland lands a left at the bell as they're colliding in a clinch and Molina tumbles! It's ruled a knockdown!!

    Untidy first 30 seconds. Good first minute by Kirkland, though. Seems like he's tiring now. Molina will look to close strong. Bullying him again. Pushes him down. Is Kirkland actually hurt? Hmmm, I think I'll give that to Kirkland for the first 90 seconds. ****!!!!!!! Knockdown.
