    Most black fighters make it a point of honour that they are from a tough upbringing. Lampley alluded to that. So what?

    You are watching men fighting with each other with the aim of rendering the other unconscious, but get worked up and claim racism because Lampley said 'ghetto'? That's pretty gay

    It's a white man with no familiarity with that world telling viewers at home a fighter has to "go ghetto" on his opponent. I don't think he's ever said it for a working class white or foreign fighter. It's not the worst thing in the world to say, but it reveals his ignorance. It suggests that people from that upbringing inherently have an animal they just switch on inside of them.

    Nah I'm all clear here. Just tellin it like it is. Like you said, to be fair, "Ghetto" is Kirkland's whole promotional theme on HBO.
