:rofl what a blatant div.....I mean devastating combo. Kimbo was brutalizing him in those last few seconds. I hope Green is ok because he looked like he has a good future and could win a few titles. He was just in there with an animal
It looks a bit odd but if we had another angle maybe it wouldn't be so surprising. I'd say it was real. Why do Kimbo's punches have almost 0 snap on them?
Usually, a dive is designed to make the victorious fighter look good, so even though the final combo didn't look that devastating, I'm inclined to believe the fight's legit, given how crappy Kimbo looked in the rounds that preceded the finish.
If it was a dive, you've got to wonder why he'd finally do the dive with 3 seconds left in the fight.
just before that, maybe 30 seconds before, you see Kimbo put his hands on the dudes ears and say something, probably "When u gonna go down, bro?"
You guys are all hating. You praise Julio Cesaer Chavez against Taylor. Why are you calling that fight a dive? Shane Mosley got props when he came from behind to KO Mayorga and that took him 12 rounds. Kimbo is fighting a bigger guy than Mayorga who was much slicker and never been KOed before. Plus Kimbo did it in 4 rounds. This just shows you how biased ESB is :roll Most you guys don't box, so your eyes aren't trained well enough. I bet you guys couldn't even see the blistering uppercut that caused the knockout because it was so quick. See it's just like this. This is how us trained fighters have better vision for punches [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEP1zjYI_V8[/ame]
ill have to look for that....the guys trainer is smiling at the guy when he is on his back most trainers dont look that happy when their man gets KO'd
oooh man, that was a dive!!! he was paid to go down... look at the way he talked to kimbo before going down... it was fixed.
at about 3:27. Kimbo just took a big hit, and put his mitts on his ears for the second time in about 10 seconds. He didn't punch him, he just kinda grabbed a hold of him. I dunno, but when I watched it the first time, I thought it was a little fishy.
1) In all seriousness, I would beat Kimbo Slice in a boxing match. Dead serious. (and yes, I've set foot in a boxing ring and would know wtf I was doing...) 2) Not a dive. Green just has an abysmal glass jaw. + people - especially people who've never been involved in the sport in any direct capacity - often neglect what a role hydration plays. You can tell Green is smacking his chops and looking a bit tired, a bit disoriented, probably a bit thirsty down the stretch there. Breathing heavily, expending energy, getting overanxious trying to knock Kiimbo out...it doesn't exactly take that big a wallop to seriously **** up a guy in that state. Just a few well-placed - and kind of slow - power punches. 3) Green's corner are ****ing idiots. Yelling how much time was left and basically screaming for him to go for it and try to knock Kimbo out, incredibly stupid. If they thought he might possibly have victory in hand, tell him to be SMART for the precious little time that was left. I'd actually be curious to know what the judges' cards were at that point.
