"Sometimes, I sit at home and I just sit back think about that, and I was trying to figure out, in '96, where was Pacquiao? I'll be asking myself that sometimes. Where was Pacquiao in '96? Where was Pacquiao in '97? Where was Pacquiao in '98? Where was this guy at? Where was Pacquiao in '99? Then, all of a sudden, he pops out of nowhere and is walking through all the big guys? I mean, you know, it is what it is." Mayweather said.

Floyd need to beat a heavyweight in order to be as great as Pacquiao is.

Floyd needs to brush up on his knowledge of the sport. In 98, Pac was still a teenager and already a lineal champion.

why does he like to talk about Pacquiao so much then pretend to get bothered when asked about him...this man is obsessed and jealous

if Pacquiao was black, Mayweather would respect him more

It is the stone cold truth.

People don't "magically" become good at the tail end of their career. Period.

Like he respected the other Black guys he completely flamed before he fought them? Right.

Mayweather cuts down the legacy of EVERY guy he plans to or is about to face. After he beats them? He makes them out to be worldbeaters.

True. Much of Pac's wins were manipulated to appear so much greater than they were though.

I mean, he still struggles with Marquez for fuk sakes. That fight was the cold dose of reality. Pac is great at beating washed up and old fighters, but when he faced with someone still well oiled, look what happens.

Pacquiao gets gifts with Marquez. He has never beat him convincingly. There is a video which shows Pacquiao fans walking out of the MGM saying he lost the 3rd fight.
