I mean, this kind of seems to be the obvious NBC Sports agenda - but nobody is clued into it? :yep How does this go down, later in 2012?
It all depends on Jennings' chin. He would undoubtedly eat a ton of jabs from Adamek. He would have to take a lot of punishment to get to him. He looked good, but wa a little awkward at times. I would definitely be rooting for him, but I wouldn't be comfortably betting on him.
I thought Jennings looked better than he is and Adamek looked worse, I would probably go with Adamek but would be rooting for Jennings.
Jennings needs to start boxing full time, he has potential to be a contender That being said, I believe that is what will seperate him from a loss to a UD (giving this partakes late in 2012)
Jennings is a real solid prospect now, Beating the **** out of a guy as tough as Liakhovich has me very impressed. Adamek just has more experience, a great jab and alot of the keys to beat him. I'll say Adamek hard fought UD. That is a great battle of the small heavys that hopeful gets made seeing as they are both under Main Events. I predict it will be made for their June 17th event on NBC Sports.
Adamek has experience & a decent workrate but his only "success" at HW has come against slow, poorly conditioned opponents. Jennings is faster, harder hitting & more mobile. Adamek might hustle a few rounds but I'd expect Jennings to win a UD, maybe a late TKO.
You hit the nail on the head Doc. Adamek's successes at HW have been against slow, poorly conditioned HWs. The only discrepancy I see in your post is the late KO part. Jennings would be only that chin early, and it's seemingly obvious to me at least that he has more power than Aguilera. He definitely turns those hips when he punches. Jennings is a natural HW with speed and some pop. Adamek is a CW carrying 20lbs of extra body fat. He carries it well, but it's not helping him in the punch resistance or power depts. :think
Yes, but shot Liakhovich >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Nagy Aguilera. I don't even mean "physically used-up, road-weary, and past-it Liakhovich". I mean literally shot. If you took a gun and blasted Liakhovich at point blank range (not in the dome, but just about anywhere else non-fatal) he would still be able to climb in the ring and whip Nagy Aguilera before receiving medical attention. Aguilera is GARBAGE.
Imagine if he caught Adamek with a shot like this :!: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qfu9IWHiwss&feature=related[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHWwd85OrQg&feature=results_video&playnext=1&list=PL0759748A4C6B6154[/ame]
