All Yall look a like?!?!?! hahaha...but seriously I didn't mean to upset anyone around here so sorry if I stepped on the wrong side of that boxing rivalry.

The two HW bouts were okay (for HW bouts...plodding, ponderously slow affairs that they are) but I actually found both halves of the HBO doubleheader more entertaining than them. :conf Yes, even with all the holding and the unsatisfactory disqualification in the opener.

Kirkland vs. Molina was tense and riveting, as it seemed early that the favorite was en route to copping a severe boxing lesson - and then as it bore on it appeared he might surge toward a knockout victory. Terrible outcome - and yeah there was some holding - but good fight.

Garcia vs. Morales was a bit one-sided, but it was action packed throughout thanks to Morales' never say die attitude and immense heart. He even won a few rounds almost strictly on his power jab. Garcia didn't look amazing, but he looked good enough to clearly beat a fading legend. Good fight.

As for Judah vs. Paris, that was just a red-headed stepchild getting smacked around. Total mismatch. Zero drama.

What was so great about the NBC Sports card again? :huh

 

NBC messed up with the advertisements though, round already started when commercial over, this is boxing every second counts

 

They are new to this. (sort of; a lot of the production people may be the same from when they had boxing on Versus before the rebranding)

I will gladly cut them some slack there.

It's the matchmaking where they did a poorer job than HBO.

Jennings vs. Liakhovich was a good torch-passing fight between HW contenders (one on the way up, the other on his descent) but the other two? :dead Total mismatches. Adamek could beat Aguilera with one hand tied behind his back, and Judah could beat Paris blindfolded.

Did not watch the HBO card(as i don't have HBO) But the NBC card was good and had great action even if it was one sided.

 

Yeah but who expected Zab to completely dominate like that? **** most had him retired already but he whopped Paris' ass in very exciting fashion landing monster shots in almost every round and Paris would come back at times early and have Judah reeling. I thought the drama of the fight was pretty high and the very small but electric crowd helped show that.
