    I think it doesn't work that way

    I've noticed that the very blackest boxers aren't really slick, just look at Clottey

    Perhaps blackness is to slickness like electricity is to electronic equipment

    A balanced amount of it activates the whole thing, but too much of it and FRZZZT, the system overloads and stops working.
