Is this guy even aware he's talking to one of the founding fathers of the prestigious Team Elite empire?

Calzaghe had a fragile mandible at LHW, it's irrefutable.

  5.:rofl He is just another lowly minion Arcers. I figured I will circle him for a bit, switch hit, then unleash my Pièce de résistance, a deliciously accurate 63 punch combination all started off with the crispest of pawed rangerfinder jabs, which shall result on him cowering in the corner a bloody pulp of Glass, teeth, and tranny cocks.:rofl:dead:barf

  6. This guy is bread and butter for Team Elite HEAD´.:rofl:deal

You can take it easy HEAD´, I have got this bumsteak covered. In fact, stick a fork in him, he´s done. :deal

terrific victory for Team Elite GJE, this resounding victory sends out a ferocious warning to cowardly custards everywhere. I've just opened a brand new chilled decanter of the finest dandelion and burdock that money can buy in celebration of this ripsnorting victory

one of my crisp left uppercutts delivered with ferocious power and stunning precision would be enough to render you unconscious for a fortnight in a pool of your own blood, vomit, urine, and feces :deal

one other problem for Cal was that had he stayed at SMW, he'd soon have to face Andre Ward, and that would be the end of his unbeaten record, so the LH Ring title fight, though it meant nothing, was a sensible career move at that point.

Even though the thread is about Light heavyweight, you have a point there. He IS a paper champion at SMW. He beat an ancient Eubank for a vacant WBO title. His title defenses were all against bums till he fought Lacy. Even after that he continued to fight bums. Kessler, who is decent at best, is a valid exception.

Is it 100% Calzaghe's fault though? Joe was always speculated to fight a decent fighter but someone (Wank Farren, Enzo Calzaghe, the speculated Opponent, Or Calzaghe himself) ended up getting the shits:-

Erdei himself was a paper champion in that his championship status was purely on paper and not a realistic status.

Joe himself was also a paper champion in my book because I had hopkins beating him.

I think people get caught up in linearity.

Each belt is essentially a claim to championship status. Whoever has the strongest claim is the champion in my book.

Erdei beat gonzalez but he looked like absolute **** against garay whilst tarver was beating up jones and johnson.

It's quite clear that tarver was the top lhw when hopkins clearly beat him.

Hopkins was considered the best and after he edged joe he dominated pavlik but then got sidelined. Meanwhile dawson beat adamek, tarver and johnson to rise to top spot before losing to pascal who in turn lost to hopkins.

In an ideal world linearity would be worth something because it would be the only title and champions would have to defend against top ranked opponents, but in today's scene noone cares about lineage, it's just another belt.

Any system thinking briggs was more of a champion than holyfield in 97 is absolutely bonkers imo.
