Lennox Lewis proved that he could be competitive with Vitali, no matter if he was losing. He was still being competitive. But do you think that guys like Ali, Frazier, Joe Louis, would be able to be competitive?

My answer: No. Vitali dominates smaller guys with no problem, and has dominated everyone he has faced no matter how fast or defensively good they were. The only guy who has made it competitive was a tall guy with a ton of skill, but there aren't that many tall guys in the history of boxing that have A LOT of skill.

Guys like Ali, Frazier, Joe Louis, Tyson would never be able to hit Vitali. In Vitali's prime he'd chew them down and KO them by the 8th/9th round. The fights wouldn't be competitive, and would be regular 1 sided Vitali beat downs.

Chris Byrd: I won 2 rounds against Vitali!
Lennox Lewis: I won 2 rounds against Vitali!

This is supposed to be the argument against Vitali being the greatest of all time, it's hilarious to read.

  6. People don't seem to understand that Ali, Frazier and Tyson were a different class to the people who have come up against Vitali. It is beyond ******ed to say anyone is too small.
Tyson in his peak was incredible defensively with head movement and that peek a boo style. He was reletless with a great chin aswell. Vitali isn't a very fast boxer, in fact, i think he's rather lumbering at times.. he's accurate though with a great reach.
I'm off the opinion Tyson would get close (but not inside as a lot of people consider Tyson to be) and unleash and be too much for Vitali.
Ali would be a very interesting one imo.. speed vs size. Ali wouldn't be able to hold his head down like he did for a lot of fighters but if he got Vitali to chase him like he was so good at he might have been able to win. I would say Vitali most likely beats Ali most likely but Tyson most likely beats Vitali.
I mean that purely stylistaclly. I think Ali would beat Tyson..
    Im confused :(
Frazier would be beaten soundly as would Joe Louis

You ask for opinions, then in the opening post say a bunch of stuff dismissing opinions opposite yours before they are even said. Interesting... I suppose you will dismiss my opinion entirely, but likely no more than I dismiss yours based on your post.

One has to think of things from the POV that Vitali is dropped and born into the era's of the past, raised and trained with the same techniques of the era of the man he is supposedly facing in a fantasy H2H match. Thus, I'd pick John L. Sullivan to beat his ass and don't care if you don't agree at all, as long as you understand where that logic is coming from.

    Joe Louis
    Lennox Lewis
    George Foreman
    Muhammad Ali
    Jack Johnson
    Wladimir Klitschko
    John L. Sullivan
    James Jeffries

Honestly we have no idea how he stacks up H2H because he has never been tested by someone and pretty much only fights bums.
