Molina fans are becoming a joke.

They guy held and wrestled for 70% of the fight, hit on breaks, pushed down on the back of the neck, and then land a three punch combo when told to break, headbutted a few times, and the ref not doing anything about that is OK.:patsch

then he gets hurt in the 10th before the knockdown, is holding around the WAIST, gets dropped, but that wasn't a clean kd.:-(

His corner comes in the ring during the count, but that is ok, because they didn't go that far in the ring:blood

Then he gets dq'd per the rules, but they don't like that call, because they were rooting for the fighter that got dqd:verysad

    Get over it.

Early in the fight Molina was clearly winning, but you could slowly see Kirkland starting to break Molina down. The bodyshots paid dividends late. The knockdown was legit. He was hurt before that.

I had it a close fight. I had Kirkland down a point. I think Molina would've been stopped next round. Molina held too much. That **** pissed me off badly. Kirkland kept on trucking. Molina fought smart, but he was getting weaker and weaker.

    Check out the forum.

Anyone that upset about this DQ has to be a fan of his.

I couldn't possibly get that worked up over a fighter getting dq'd for a perfectly legitimate reason unless I was a fan.

    The site undermines your post.

If they were fans of boxing they would be bitching about what a **** fight the fight was, and that Molina was ****ing awful and used awful tactics and Kirkland was virtually impotent to being held. Molina was a disgrace in the ring, and Kirkland at times looked incompetent.

Instead there is bitching about how Molina got robbed. He got drilled into the mat, fought like an embarrassment the whole 10th after he was first tagged and was rightfully dq'd.

And I sign my name at the end my posts for two reasons.

    1. It's easy to find my posts when scrolling through threads when signed at the bottom. You will notice a LOT of older posters have some sort of signature at the bottom of their threads for the same reason.

    2. It's a dip**** finder. When someone gets in over their head in a debate with me if they are a dip**** they will invariably comments about me signing my name on my threads. When they having nothing left that's what they resort to.

He's been stagnant for a while. He doesn't add any new layers to his game because their focus is conditioning and pure aggression. I will say be "tried" to box but we saw how that worked out for him. He's better off doing what has worked thus far, against the right kind of opponents... Molina isn't a great fighter... He's solid in all areas, great at nothing. James is not very diverse.

There aren't many Molina fans dude... What you see is people who are calling it like they see it.

The ref wasn't in control... He made a hasty decison after finishing the standing 8 count and gave the fight away to the fighter who was clearly losing almost, if not every round up to that point.

I find it amusing just how far Kirkland fans are willing to go to blindly support their guy.

Actually, I think it is starting to become clear why the corner man was confused. The bell rings. The ref never gave the 'down' signal to the time keeper but just starts the count without sending Kirkland to the neutral corner. Molina walks to his corner for the count and Kirkland goes to his corner instead of a neutral corner. This ref was a screw up all the way around.

Molina is a elite fighter, he has shown me that he can hang and atleast compete with the top of the division. So I disagree with your rating of him.

James isn't diverse, but like I said he is improving defensively and that is clear. He also hasn't been stagnant at all, his combination punching was improving before this fight.

I seem to agree with Kirkland that he laid low this fight because he really respected Molina and tried to fight, too perfectly. When he finally opened up in the 10th, he hurt molina badly and knocked him down.

they fight again I see a James KO in the 8th.
