I'm going for the upset in the Sato-Suriyan fight! I'm willing to bet $20 on Sato. Any takers? I'm definitely going against the majority here haha.
Hey everyone, back from the field. wow. Alright, So I just got done watching Kirkland vs Molina. I know many will disagree, but I actually think the person that the ref robbed most that night was Kirkland, out of a legit stoppage win over one of the top fighters of his division. Kirkland had Molina done for imo, and there was still 2 more rounds to go. I do think Kirkland would have stopped Molina, and the fact that he was able to wear Molina down like he did in spite of Molinas constant, and I mean constant, pushing, smothering, hugging, and hitting after breaks, has me not feeling so bad about this performence from James. Was it a subpar performance? For sure. He was in with a guy who was fighting his ass off, while he himself seemed a little restrained compared to the Kirkland we are used to seeing. Some thoughts * The way Kirkland is treated and is trained, is good for a shooting star type of career, flashes in the pan, but it is bound to wear on a person mentally and physically, I hope Kirkland doesnt burn out soon. * That could very well be in the top 3 worst refs Ive ever seen. He allowed Molina to literally run up to kirkland, push him to the ropes, and then hug him. Then I think in round 9 or so, Kirkland tries to say something about it and he tells Kirkland 'Sshh'. Then, again in round 9 I believe, he says break, and Molina hits Kirkland well after that. I really think people shouldnt be too hard on Kirkland for this fight, its not the best fight to have to build his profile, and he underperformed, but lets look at it again from another angle. - Everyone knew Molina was going to be a tough out for him. Kirkland needs work against good movers and counterpunchers, and Molina is one of the best fighters at the weightclass - He was in there with a fighter that was doing everything he could just about to make the fight dirty, smothering Kirklands work, and downright cheating imo with the amount he pushed and held. Then there was the ref that allowed it. You put in a ref that doesnt allow Molina to do that constantly, its probable imo that Kirkland wears him down quicker. Despite that, he still wore molina down I dont think that should be overlooked. Molina came to fight his ass off, got James to fight his fight, made the fight dirty as hell, and still got worn down by Kirkland by round 10. I dont think many fighters in the division would have Molina done in the way Kirkland did by that point if Molina is allowed to use the tactics he did this weekend. So those are the positives Im taking away from that fight. The negative is much easier to see and much more prevalent. Kirkland showed many flaws, as usual, was getting outboxed and manhandled through big portions of the fight, and just didnt really look like the Kirkland we are used to for the most part until around 9 and 10. Idk, its just IMO. I do understand where others are coming from though for the most part. As for Morales vs Garcia, was suprised to see Morales have the kind of success he had, and I am so glad he did. However the end result was what I was unfortunatly expecting. I hope Morales retires, hes given us fans all we could want, and for himself, he can retire knowing he was one of the purest and best warriors on the planet. Im sure he could find a job that has to do with either commentating, boxing analyist on tv or whatever. I have to say I am suprised, but was happy to see, Judah stop Paris. Judah shows that even still, after all his ups and downs and now adding on the years, hes still a fighter that if you are not on world level, he will work you. Which shows me that Judah is still close to being a world level fighter. UPDATES - Ill do wager updates tonight, along with some other things, and I will collect all the picks. I appreciate the patience you have shown this month guys, the updates will be up and out within the next few days (all of them) :good

Hey BigBone, It sucks man, but Malden never confirmed the Kirkland fight against you. If it had been a flat wager that you accepted (meaning a fixed amount) and you were the first to pick it up it wouldnt matter if it was confirmed, but since the amount wasnt set and would have been needed to be confirmed from Malden if he was ok with wagering whatever amount it would have been, I cant accept it. For the record for everyong from here on out with wagers. If someone puts out a wager of a fixed amount, and you are the first to pick it up, then its automatic matchup. If its a general bet of 'taking x to beat y' and someone accepts it, it then needs to be confirmed by both on the amount being wagered, to keep from bickering after the fact. :good
