Again you are reaching, there is no rule that states not going to a neutral corner results in DQ.

As for the confusion, there was none, only one man from both corners did something so stupid as to walk in the ring during the count. Kirkland's camp and the majority of Molina's camp were watching the count and keeping out of the ring. One inattentive corner man gave the corrupt commission all they needed to end the fight.

Show me where I said or even implied that.

And there was at least one other person confused. The commission representative appointed to keep him out of the ring between rounds. So, that makes two in that corner. Maybe they were screened from the count by Molina.

Too many mistakes were made in those last few seconds. Mistakes which the fighters themselves paid for.
It seemed Molina's corner went in because they reacted to the bell, not the count.
I don't see why this would not be a no contest event. Like Ceasar said, ban those two idiots and make the fight again.

The problem is that his poor officiating may have very well been the cause if the cornerman getting on the apron. At least they have a case. Kirkland was in his corner where he shouldnt have been. Molinas guy was in his cirner where he shouldnt have been. If the ref is by the book, fine, but he wasnt. Would molinas cornerman have stayed out of the ring if he saw kirkland in the neutral corner? i cant answer that, but the refs failures may have resulted in molinas cornermans confusion. That is not unlikely.

Your second point was purely speculative. You have no idea what the guy in the corner was doing.

Only one guy entered the ring..........

Pretty good speculation based on the evidence though. Neither the second nor the commission member in that corner seemed to know the round wasn't over because of the count. I can't see the guy getting into the ring under any other premise. The ref didn't give the down signal to the time keep and he didn't sent Kirkland to the neutral corner. He didn't even due his duty to make sure Kirkland wasn't in the neutral corner. Ref blew it in every way imaginable. Trying to blame the second for being 'inattentive' is nothing more that trying to pull something out of the air to win a point. Indeed Bama thought he didn't have to go to the neutral corner under those circumstances so he isn't showing anymore knowledge of the rules than the OP really.

there are 6 total cornermen I believe.

    One entered the ring.

    Why didn't the other 5????

The guy ****ed up. You would have more of a point if 3+ corner men jumped up. Only one did.

OK. You just betrayed your lack of knowledge here. You obviously don't know that only ONE corner man is allowed in the ring between rounds. (Actually from the time the ref sends everyone out at the beginning of the fight) You ever notice the chief second has to stay out if he lets the cut man in to work? Obviously not.

The ref sent Molina to his own corner to count, NOT THE NUETRAL.
Therefor any trainer would think the round is over.

not hard to understand is it?

I don't think the ref sends the down fighter anywhere. They just go wherever. Gotta keep it accurate here. They let the guy recover on his own terms and don't interfere.

I vividly remember seeing the cornerman enter the ring behind Molina, seeing it on screen.

Yes, but Molina went to his corner on his own. The ref does not direct the downed fighter to go anywhere. They just assess them. The fighter often time doesn't go anywhere, they just stay in one spot and recuperate. The fighter that did the KD though MUST go to the neutral corner. It doesn't matter that the bell rang. The ref must watch to make sure he stays there. He is NOT allowed to go to his own corner where he can get assistance like coaching. Every now and again you will see a ref admonish a corner for shouting out instructions. My understanding is that they aren't actually allowed to coach during the round. Most do yell out instructions anyhow.
