Molina secured a title shot in the UFC. Good job.

Molina's good but Hopkins and Ward are better rounded technicians. Also who's been saying Hopkins and Ward have exciting styles?

The "Carlos Molina affect" is why so many people hate Ward and Hopkins and have for years. Molina didn't work the inside nearly as well as they did. He hit and got his work done, then clinched. Not clinch, then hit and got his work done. If it was the latter, than I would say he was doing what Ward and Hopkins do. He seldom actually landed a punch in the clinches. It was often Kirkland wasting energy and missing badly trying to make Molina pay after he clinched. As it was, he had a beautiful gameplan and stuck to it well. Molina deserves a rematch.

I thought he fought ****ing brilliant. First time I seen him in action, but was completely dominating Kirkland.

I like Molina ive seen plenty of his fights. far from boring

if anything i respect the guy, not a god gifted athlete or destructive puncher or even a great looking physique

but he can box and isnt afraid to fight anyone any where

only a ****in fool would compare that shameful boxing to what Ward does. isnt it funny how as soon he wasnt able to hold he was on the canvas? that was cowardly scared fighting.

Molina was kicking Kirkland's @$$ six-ways-from-sunday and the powers-that-be were in a panic and everybody breathed a huge sigh of relief when the ref called the DQ.

I'm not a fan of the the constant grabbing, even less of a fan when the ref lets a fighter be locked up for 90 seconds a round, I blame the fight going like that on a mix of factors, kirkland not having a clue what to do, molinas tactics and the ref.

I thought Kirkland would blow him out, never saw him before

The same way right? Like fighting in clinches? Tired of people turning it into a race thing I liked the fight thought it was decent but I hate when the fighting dies in the inside and in clinches period. Reason I find Ward and Hopkins more watchable is that they inside-fight, really only reason. Also like watching Mares so race means nothing in that aspect. AND Hopkins was offensive-minded in his prime but he toned it down for the most part post-03(except against Pascal, Tarver, and Pavlik). Shows you that people don't/didn't follow his career.

Hell no, the only similarities between Molina B-Hop and Ward are that they are all spoilers and all clinch quite often..... other than that Molina is sloppy as **** while the other 2 are technically perfect. Molina deserved a win though and deserves a rematch, he got robbed badly last night and proved he's a few levels above Kirkland. Kirkland sucks. Molinas a smart boxer who his uses his limited skillset to the best of his abilities and is great a following a game plan and decent at adapting so I give him props despite fighting ugly, you can only work with what you got and naturally he ain't half as blessed as Kirkland but he's got Iron will to win and employ whatever tactics it takes which is an intangible that crushes better skillsets of opponents who lack in that department. Props to Molina, he's a beast for what he has to work with.
