Do fighters today need to learn the Floyd Mayweather Elbow?

Nothing will help Kirkland, deep down he's soft. If Molina tried that **** with Canelo or Cotto he'd be on his ass.

Garcia, definetly needs to implement the money elbow.....I've given up all hope for Paris, he doesn't have the will but doubt the elbow woulda helped him last night

He seems to use his elbow/forearm to push his opponents off him. It leaves just enough room for him to strike you.
This way is smarter than trying to push your opponent off with fully extended arms which leaves you vulnerable.
His arm is still in range for defensive position.

 

Yes they do. I have no problem with what Molina did, but I would have had no problem if Kirkland stuck his elbow in his face a few times either.

 

Kirkland needs to bring into a elbow speciality to work on how to use that so you can get space to land punches on those who try to smother him.

Theres nothing illegal aboout floyds elbows cause he uses it for defensive purposes, unlike what weve seen in the salido_lopez fight.

I have no prob with floyds elbow. If he does it to you, elbow him back or hit him in the nuts. If your a crafty enough fighter you'll know how to deal with that anyway.
