Who you got. Ali was around years ago and had good wins over Foreman, Frazier etc Klitschkos rule currently, many dominant ko wins between them
Ali is the only 3 time linear champ. He beat more legendary fighters than anyone else and he fought in the best division ever. He had a good comeback of his own and was only stopped once very late in his career. Ali was accurate,fast,athletic,pretty,tough etc Ali was certainly never stopped by TKO in round 6 or knocked silly by a bum like Ross Puritty.
Both Klitschko brothers could have been competitive with Ali and I believe could have beaten the so-called "Greatest." Both have better punching power by far, are larger than Ali and are smart fighters. I think they both could have done it. Even assuming all 3 being in their prime. But really no one knows.
Ali is vastly overated. Got dropped and k.O'ed by 188lb. Henry Cooper. Dundee, Ali's trainer admits he cheated by cutting up Ali's gloves to give Ali extra time to recover. In other words Cooper won fair and square without the mendacious cheating of Ali's corner. Ali got beat badly by jello-jawed Ken Norton who was slaughtered by every heavy handed puncher he ever faced. Chris Byrd like Jimmy Young spanked Ali and was robbed. The Klitschko's would have handed Ali his ass. Bigger, stronger, more technically proficient and much, much more powerful. Total mismatch.
LMAO! There are guys on Ali's resume OUTSIDE of his top 5 wins that have comparably even resumes to the combined body of work of both Klitschko's put together.
