Texas has always had a horrible record in boxing. That's where your hero JCC won a draw despite losing 9 rounds. Gale Van Hoy is licensed there. This DQ was just another example of why promoters and networks need to avoid Texas.

However, the referee taking a strict interpretation of the rules in this case has nothing to do with any other fight in any other venue.

 

Because the chief second has the RIGHT to stop the fight and the actual rule is not a towel being thrown- but that once the no 2 jumps in the ring the fight is stopped

You immediately assume the stoppage was due to race and nationality. You also assume that Kirkland never provided a urine sample just because he did not do it prior to the fight. Then, using your own bias and assumptions make statements you can not prove.

Also remember in Floyd's case, the time was stopped. The Ref called time to give the point deduction to Judah. When a ref is still counting or time is going, the entrance of a cornermen is illegal

I was just about to type this, but I saw your response. The situations are not comparable, because the Mayweather-Judah fight had been stopped, because the ref called time. No time out was called in the Kirkland-Molina fight.

 

it's indisputable that somebody from both (molina and maweather's) corner entered the ring while there's still time in the round.

if it's in the rule that entering the ring while the fight is still on would DQ the offender's fighter, then Floyd's referee did his job and the referee in the Molina fight also did his job.
