Sugar Ray Leonard vs Floyd and Manny..

I'll start it off by saying that both Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquioa have decent chances of beating Sugar Ray Leonard.. :smoke

I know most of you would accuse me as a troll but as long as its not proven, I'm not..

This is the highlights of SRL.. This should tell us what SRL is capable of..

0:22 - Fast 1-2 combination.. His target is just approaching in a straight direction..
0:37 - Full swing on a barely moving target.. Why was his opponent so tentative? :huh
1:10 - Strong powerful combinations.. His opponent was just standing in front him..
1:24 - Combinations on the head of a barely moving boxer..
1:28 - 1-2 combination.. We know why he was able to land it.. :deal
1:32 - 1-2 combination.. First one missed because his opponent weaved..
1:35 - 1-2 combination.. Second one missed because his opponent weaved again..
1:47 - Shows he is fast on his feet.. Then he lands a right to the body that would hurt anyone even behind his guard..
2:09 - Ultra fast hand speed! :yikesHe was able to do that in front of a standing opponent..
2:35 - He is really looking for the kill.. Again, his opponent is really slow with his feet..
2:51 - He's just tough.. But opponent moving right straight to him..
3:13 - Hard right.. Again, barely moving opponent..
3:18 - He almost missed it against an opponent who slowly moves backward! atsch
3:24 - He lands again against a standing opponent..
3:31 - Devastating combinations.. Again, opponent not moving!

Floyd Mayweather's counter punching ability and his defense would give SRL problems.. Plus Floyd's got the ability to adjust.. If SRL would come with just one gameplan, I bet Floyd is talented enough to make the first half competitive and he might just get the second half.. :hey
But I know for sure that if SRL was still active, Floyd won't fight him.. Health reasons.. :yep

I know for sure that SRL won't use JMM's fight plan.. :yep
I mean, the pride alone won't make SRL abandon his style just to beat Pac..

Manny Pacquioa is something comparable with SRL.. We all know what SRL will do against Pac, he will use jabs and at some point land some bombs.. At one point they'll just throw their hands, let it flies.. In terms of punches that will be thrown maybe a 7:5 in favor for SRL.. But Pac wins the punches that will land.. When SRL is throwing combinations, he is just standing in front of his opponent while Pac is using his feet to create better angles and evade the punches.. That would be the difference..

What I'm pointing is, SRL only lands those lethal combinations against fighters who are flat on their feet..

There's no way SRL will land those full swing rights on Floyd and Manny.. :nono

 

From what I've seen.. That won't happen..

If Leonard tries to fight it from the inside, Pac will just go in and out.. Pacquioa will throw his left hand lead then he moves on his right.. He won't be on SRL's range all night, just like what SRL used to beat..


If Leonard tries to fight Manny from the outside, there will come a moment where Pac would catch him.. If Duran can catch Leonard, how about Pac? Pac's feet are a lot faster compared to Duran's.. :smoke
