Sugar Ray Leonard vs Floyd and Manny..

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by LordJomski, Mar 26, 2012.

  1. Leonard would beat Manny 7 out of 10 x by decision.
Floyd beats Leonard 7 out of 10 times by decision (fixed) but Leonard would win al the events.

Pac would get KTFO. Floyd's defense might spare him from the same fate for most of the fight, but his offense would be neutralized as a result. And if SRL ever caught Floyd the way Mosley did, the fight would be OVER. SRL was as fast or faster than either Pac or Floyd. He was bigger, much stronger and conditioned to fight 15 rounds without a problem.

You don't know **** about Boxing. Pacquiao's footwork is horrible, he is consistently off-balance when he's punching, he never finds a proper angle to attack from, and he is still, contrary to popular belief, a mostly one-handed fighter. That is why he looks like a god against plodders that fight in straight lines like Hatton and he looks like **** against guys that can Box like Marquez. Leonard and Floyd would both clown him and it would not be close.

Ray was better than both of them. Pacman is great and has fought everyone, but he has not fought a Sugar Ray Leonard. Mayweather has not fought everyone, but Ray does everything better than him.

Leonard is bigger, stronger, faster, better then both Pac and Floyd. They wouldn't beat him. Floyd and Pac are really 140 fighters, Pac is more like 135. Leonard is a big welterweight. He had a ton of skill and talent, and he's been in wars with some of the greatest names ever. Floyd would get taken apart and stopped , look at what an old ass Shane Mosley did to Floyd. Pacquiao would probably get stopped too.

This is the best he has done..

You could also see here how Duran vs SRL I.. :smoke

He is just a bigger and tougher version of Ricky Hatton.. I bet Margarito is more durable than Duran.. Watching SRL-Duran I again only gives me second thoughts that, maybe Pac was hitting harder than SRL.. :smoke
Maybe they only looked strong because they are full swings.. I wonder what would it look when its Pacquioa landing full swings.. :think

    :yikes :yikes

I'd like to add that picking Pacquioa over Duran is not an ignorance.. Its like a game where paper beats stone all the time.. And you kept on insisting its the other way around.. Seriously, you look stupid.. :deal

Do you have any thoughts on the current political unfoldings in the former Soviet Union? Or whether the Gold standard will ever be brought back as a basis for the money supply ?

And was Finnegan's wake really the ultimate in stream-of-consciousness outpourings, or was Joyce just drunk ?

Maybe you could tell us where the Scottish premier league is headed, or whether Fermat or Pascal contributed more.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

Most of the people here tends to think that Floyd is just all defense.. :patsch

Floyd has the best defense so far, and as much as I know about him.. FLoyd is not Clottey, he likes to be on the offensive for most part of the game.. :deal

SRL had serious KO power, would be punching down on Floyd, and was as fast or faster than him. Floyd would avoid shots, but he would be very reluctant to open up for fear of getting KTFO.

Before the Floyd-Mosley fight I would have agreed with you..

Floyd's legs looked unstable when Mosley connected.. But the rounds after that, its all Floyd.. I thought he'll try the Baldomir game plan but he chose to out-muscle Mosley and he won it convincingly.. :deal
