They're doing the usual rhythm that we've all seen on 24/7, at the usual build-up from slow to fast to super fast. Same repetition, with Roger doing half the work for Floyd but the end product looking flashy and impressive. Floyd's knuckles keep making perfect snare-drum contact with the center of the mitts. Roger taps him on the left shoulder as Floyd rolls back and keeps throwing short mimed punches into the mitts. Floyd ducks some arm sweeps and keeps tapping away. Usual ****.
yo...can someone up some footage of the sparring? i ****ing missed it! aaaawwwww ****! UNC ROGER with the mitts
Just part of the routine. It probably serves some purpose, maybe to simulate the feeling of a shot that he's rolled away from to take the sting off?
Well, no ****. :yep If HBO instead aired one of these every time they debuted an episode of 24/7, two things would happen: 1) Diehard boxing fans would go ballistic and jizz all over themselves in delight. 2) Casual fans would never bother tuning in to HBO. This **** would go right over their heads. They want DRAMA and trash talk, not HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.
Why did Floyd start with sparring? He was not warmed up thats why he was getting tagged in the first few rounds.
Now that fat guy is in there wearing a big padded leather kangaroo pouch as Mayweather pecks away with body shots.
