Just to be clear, I'm a big Floyd fan. He's an ATG. But at 147, SRL would have been his worst nightmare: speed, power, workrate, brilliant combination punching, size, stamina, and an unequaled killer instinct. It wouldn't have ended well for Jr.

Manny couldn't dominate Marquez he's not dominating a prime Oscar, Floyd, and much less Duran or SRL. Hahaha wake the **** up.:-(

SRL has the slight advantage in speed, and also with power.. His workrate is tremendous, I totally agree with that.. But the way he throws his punches, they are really wide! :deal Floyd won't miss the opportunity to counter each and every wild shots SRL will fire.. SRL won't outbox Floyd with ease.. Everytime SRL dances around, Floyd will just wait until Leonard engages.. SRL would win if it's only jabs alone, but Floyd will counter his jab with his right straight then he ducks.. Floyd will not make himself a standing target for SRL's lethal combinations.. :nono

Ray probably gets 8-4 against Floyd and knocks Manny out.

Manny won't beat Floyd much less the Fab 4. Hasn't faced a iron chinned puncher like Duran or iron chinned boxer puncher like SRL at welter. Floyd fought Baldo-who, Judah-what? Manny Margarito with turtle reflexes and Clottey with a turtle shell defense throwing 3 punches a round? Wtf is that? Is that what you call great?

    No problem.

I was just searching for a topic where you might have a realistic shot at serious discussion.

Your posts so far in this thread show no evidence that pugilism fits the category.

    Carry on.

The 147 version of Duran will be brutally beaten by Pacquioa.. :deal
The 154 version of Duran will also take a lot of beating from Cotto.. :deal

Duran would have also struggled to the Mosley who Cotto beat.. :deal

SRL is too overrated, If Pac or even Mayweather caught SRL the way Duran did(I'm sure they will), they will put SRL down.. :bbb

The lounge, my man. The lounge.

It's full of folks who post on everything under the sun.

I'm sure you'd find something in there to suit all interests.

    And levels.

watching ray's highlight makes me wish that Floyd had that same killer instinct as Ray. Ray was straight knocking some heads off. Of course this highlight video only shows those fights and i unfortunately have not seen a lot of his fights. so my opinion is half-informed

I just thought I made a strong argument for boxing, SRL vs Floyd and Pac.. :desk

When the best boxer/s of each era meets, its a toss-up!

Not a one-sided, SRL winning by brutal KO or wide decision.. :conf

When a mentality like that occurs here at present.. They will always live the past forever.. :-(

    How???:huh
I'm not in the habit of getting nasty, and I suspect youth is a big factor in your ignorance of the subject matter, but to say the most complete fighter of the modern era is overrated obliterates any credibilty here.
Sorry but there wasn't much(credibility) to begin with. Not being shitty but I think you want to believe your era contains the greatest fighters, and it's closer to the moon than it is to the truth.

Most of SRL fans are delusional when they say SRL would beat Pac and Mayweather comfortably..

I guess its safe to say that its hard to teach an old dog a new trick.. I'm pointing out good points to consider if ever the fight that did not happen in the past, won't happen at present and MAYBE in the the future happens won't become a one-sided fight..
